Guests at Pools

Can you imagine the blowback that would happen if (insert famous person here) wasn't allowed to bring a friend that flew in for the day to the pool with him or her after dropping $5k on a room for the weekend?
Half the people would applaud Disney for not allowing someone to break the rules, and the other half would think Disney sucks.

At least that's what would happen in forums on the internet. Actual resort guests on the ground probably wouldn't give a rat's rear end either way. :joyfull:

It's on the sign, so yes.

I think we would all be surprised at how that MB would be flagged when scanned. Disney know their high rollers and they have a different experience.

I would also assume in that sort of situation they would be escorted to the pool by someone with more authority than the person scanning bands.
CM at gate is just told to only let those with a magicband (or card) proving they are staying at this resort in through that gate. So without a VIP escort the CM still isn't going to let the VIP in (or will let them in and then get someone senior over to check).

But a non-VIP guest staying in a presidential suite would still need all guests registered to enjoy all the amenities without any issues.

Basically this entire thread comes down to if you want to use the amenities of a resort, you need to be registered and hold a magicband/card that shows that. (Restaurants and shops are different)

There might be some weird occasions for VIP guests but I would think those would be the sort of guests who have a plaid vest tour guide CM with them in the park.

I've never showered before getting in the pool. Always see the sign and laugh at it right as I stroll down the steps singing "breaking the law".

Well, there's no rule indicating that you can't urinate in the pool if you are over diaper age so I guess I won't have to get out to go anymore.

Do the people with the VIP pool guides get preferential treatment at the slides? I know they just get thrown in the FP lines in the parks but the pools don't have that...at least not yet.
