Guess who I met on Vacation??!!!

So I just got back from my vacation tonight, and want to do a full trip report but am going to have to wait til later this week, but a quick note that made my vacation even better was that I got to see one of my favorite Red Sox Players while there! We saw Jason Varitek Tues at Magic Kingdom, and then at MGM on Wednesday... here are a few pics, and my full report will come later! (Just had to share my excitement on seeing him with you all!)

My family and I saw Diana Ross at MGM, right in front of Rock n' Roller Coaster. I think we have a picture of her somewhere.

A few years ago my husband and I ran into James Hetfield from Metallica (lead singer guy) with his family at Animal Kingdom, once when they were in line for the Safari and then again later while in line for popcorn. Strangely enough, it was the day after VH1 played "Some Kind of Monster" (the Metallica movie). We introduced ourselves and said we had watched the movie, and he said "uh oh". He was worried he had looked bad because in the movie he went into rehab. But he was very nice and polite.

Another time recently, we saw Michael Waltrip (NASCAR driver) and his kids. He was pretty nice too.

You just never know who you are going to run into when you are out in the World.

Keep an eye out for the cast members walking around in the plaid vests, that's how we notice the famous folks! They are escorts (I don't know what their official titles are).

He seems like a great person. I watched him play at Georgia Tech while I was there. I don't think we have seen any celebrities at Disney when we were there....:veryconfu The Bo Soxs have been one of my favorite teams because of all the GT players they have had!:sohappy:

We saw Orlando Pace of the St. Louis Rams (on injured reserve) Sunday at MGM...that was tite...I'm from St. Louis!

That was false about him being on the Mitchell Report. :brick: His name was never on the Mitchell Report. :sohappy: It was a rummer that came about 3 hours before the actual Mitchell Report was issued.:shrug:
