Joe's a rebel. Joe reportedly used to wear his Disney 5-year anniversary lapel pin in his ear. He is quoted saying: ``I used to wear it through my ear in no small part to annoy the people working in the [Disneyland) park when I would walk in and had work to do,''

Are you talking bout the ones where you just press NEXT NEXT NEXT NEXT until the quiz comes up? Then proceed to ace the quiz with common sense and multiple choice / true false test taking skills?

I always wonder what they think when it shows that I read 60 slides and took a test in two minutes and 13 seconds.
Oh, you take those too.;)
I typically screen shot the test because they tell you the right answer. Then retake the test with my screen shots.

Checking the Mattercam, they have the front of the tower covered now. The Mattercam can't focus very well right now with the haze.

That being said - this is the first time that I truly believe that Walt is rolling in his grave because a Disney representative (at any level) would have an ear like that and it would be so prominently displayed in a company released video.

Let him roll. The guy is an incredible talent. I'm sure Universal or some other creative enterprise would be happy to have Joe if Disney doesn't want him.

Same goes for Dumbo during a previous fireworks show at Disneyland and Nemo at the former Disneyland Forever show.

Yes. The Tinkerbell zip line has been there in one form or another off and on for decades since the 60s and gets a pass with fans. Because Walt.

First off, it is Tinker Bell, two words, not one.

As for portraying Tinker Bell, there are different roles and requirements, one is the Tinker Bell Meet and Greet role, they are members of one union and is paid better than the Parade Tink's, which is a different union with different requirements, more physical and not a speaking role in most cases. (lip syncing), and then Tinker Bell as a stunt performer, as in the zipline person. This person is basically wearing a full costume, and the priority is being a member of the Stunt Actor Union, and meeting the weight requirements for the role. Gender is not a factor, more size. Many times nowadays it is one of the Knott's Stunt Show actors that does it, as they are already in the area, and have finished their "day" job, and just has a nice dinner and then clocks in for the evening flight. It is also the highest paid Tink in the park.

My favorite Tinker Bell story, I was asked to attend a a special Breakfast event at Club 33, and at the time, I was a single guy, so I was asked to be the "date" of a special guest and accompany her and take care of her during the event.

So I show up before park opening, get escorted thru the park to Club 33 to meet my "date", and then I find out it is Margaret Kerry, who was the original model that Walt Disney used to make the Tinker Bell drawings for the original Peter pan movie.... What a shock, and also a very nice honor. We still keep in touch on occasion, and she is still in good health and going strong.
