With six scenarios, did they expect there to be six physical sets that they quickly swap in and out. Do fully furnished rooms come available like a six CD player?
If it is all screens that's truly disappointing. Since I'm assuming at least one part of the story wouldn't be random it would make sense to have one of the effect corridors have actual...you know...effects.
I'm happy to hear about a Rocket AA though, with the time frame of construction I thought there would be no animatronics at all.

Wow. Okay. They sold out a $150 event for a ride many local Disneyland fans are upset about. That tells me there are a lot of local Disneyland fans who aren't upset, and/or they are pulling in new Marvel fans who may not have been that excited about Disneyland before but are now interested because the property is now featuring Marvel stuff. Either way, Disneyland appears to have a solid base of customers to draw from to satisfy demand for this new ride.
Could the Figment nod be an allusion to a Guardians overlay in Epcot's Journey into Imagination? If so, this would be the 2nd nod to Epcot specifically.

The debate of whether losing Adventure Thru Inner Space to Star Tours was worth it back in the 80's was probably very similar.
"We're losing physical props, set pieces, and an actual ride, for a screen based simulator"
"But look, the queue is more themed!- it has a C-3P0 animatronic"
"But wait, one animatronic isn't enough. We are losing an actual ride for a screen based attraction"
"But there are other animatronics later in the queue!"
"Those are just some skinned birds from America Sings. Disney is CHEAP!"
I could go on. But Star Tours currently has 45 minute plus wait times on the daily, and an extremely popular fast pass- I think the point is the general public doesn't care if an attraction is screen based, as long as what's on the screen looks cool. I mean, half the people watch the fireworks through their 4 inch cell phone screens anyway.
While I agree with you, I have to say this line is one of the silliest things people say when someone confronts another. You don't like my posts? Fine. Don't read them,
He's right, but for the wrong reasons.. it was infinitely good on someone's wallet.. which will get a fat bonus for doing so much noise for so little changes.View attachment 205650
Sorry. Couldn't resist.
they should have put both mission and breakout in graffiti. To make it looks like Rocket damaged it.I actually like the sign, except for the ridiculous breakout spray paint look.

Took me a while to see it too, but the letters from "Mission" are supposedly torn-off-and-rearranged from the headingthey should have put both mission and breakout in graffiti. To make it looks like Rocket damaged it.
Tivan's isnt giving a "mission" afterall.
I wonder how many of them were actually bloggers, mommy bloggers and PR agents.Well, this is terrible news.......
From MousePlanet......
"As we predicted last week, the $150 Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout Galactic Premier Party is sold out. Attendees will be among the first to experience the new attraction on May 26, one day before it opens to the general public."

Because.. to make a real judgment of the things we see, read and hear.. we have to see them, read them and hear them...
Cant "like" or "hate" if someone doesn't read. someone has TO READ to actually make a judgment.
Just noticed that as well.Took me a while to see it too, but the letters from "Mission" are supposedly torn-off-and-rearranged from the heading
" FIRST TIME ON DISPLAY: "
I'm curious how many tickets were sold.I wonder how many of them were actually bloggers, mommy bloggers and PR agents.
They just need to build basements. Gosh, maybe even a few Utilidors, which would be cheaper and easier in Anaheim's sandy soil than Orlando's swamp. Those green pre-fab buildings are the epitome of cheap construction, likely barely rated to handle 7.5 earthquakes and minor tornadoes. The contents of each building costs more than the building itself. They can be replaced quite easily with a basement, it's just going to cost a few million more than a pre-fab metal building would for the same square footage.
A financial reminder: For Fiscal 2017 Second Quarter, January-March '17, the net income (pure after-tax profit) for the Parks & Resorts division of the Walt Disney Company increased 20% to $750 Million. In three months. For just the Parks division. And Easter fell in mid April this year, so March was slower than normal at the theme parks and cruise ships. $750 Million.
They can afford to build a basement.![]()
Well they read and apparently decided they couldn't handle another opinion without posting sarcastic, critical comments. Which, in my opinion, were unwarranted. If They don't like my memes or one liners (which by the way are comedy gold) or the fact that I like something they don't, at that point they can either click the ignore button or act like an adult and be civil.
