I don't think virtual queues are necessary and should not be implemented. The ride is high capacity and rollercoasters in general are not prone to breakdowns like dark rides.
Maybe they didn't want to be asked about ILL and price.Seeing how this ultimately panned out, I am still really surprised that Chapek or D'Amaro didn't take one of the many high profile opportunities this year to make this announcement.
Vekoma’s typical inverting coaster also doesn’t have a shoulder restraint. The vest that touches the shoulder on the new Space Mountain (Paris) trains is entirely optional at the request of the park. You don’t need a shoulder harness for upside-down maneuvers, but as stated, this has none.

lap bar-only!
I wish they’d make the switch on our RnRC.Vekoma’s typical inverting coaster also doesn’t have a shoulder restraint. The vest that touches the shoulder on the new Space Mountain (Paris) trains is entirely optional at the request of the park.
Will AP previews be before or after friends and family?Didn’t see it here—early access sneak peaks just for CMs later this month with previews for Cast, family, and friends in early May.
Usually after. Will AP previews be before or after friends and family?
Yep. If they can pull it off.And now we have that date!
5 years to build and a dramatically less complicated ride system and it still might be the dumpster fire of reliability that ROR was when it opened?Yep. If they can pull it off.
Remember, it’s not just the ride controls but also all of the integrated show controls. They’re not just pushing a coaster through a circuit with videos played on a loop. The position of the vehicle triggers not just car rotation but show scenes and effects. All of that needs to be timed for how each train is actually moving.I cant wrap my head around reliability issues on attractions like these. It’s THAT complicated?
This one will have a spinning portion that will guide the guests to areas to look at as part of the story. The coaster portion itself seems rather simplistic from the videos I've seen. The spinning doesn't look too fast either though. They also have a reverse launch. Reports I read were less thrilling than RnR or possibly even EE.I cant wrap my head around reliability issues on attractions like these. It’s THAT complicated?
That shouldn’t be too much of an issue. F.L.Y. seems to be doing well. This one will have a spinning portion that will guide the guests to areas to look at as part of the story. "might be"? strong post my man. And it hasn't been 5 years, also was a global pandemic, but don't let facts ruin your strong post of "might be a dumpster fire of reliability".5 years to build and a dramatically less complicated ride system and it still might be the dumpster fire of reliability that ROR was when it opened?
Is Vekoma offering Disney a zero cost switch?I wish they’d make the switch on our RnRC.
The question may be loading speed. Some guests may take longer then CM and AP guinea pigs.I cant wrap my head around reliability issues on attractions like these. It’s THAT complicated?
Which coaster? I searched for F.L.Y. and saw a totally different coaster than what GotG will be. But all aside this is DisneyThat shouldn’t be too much of an issue. F.L.Y. seems to be doing well.
The rotation technology Vekoma used for F.L.Y. is very similar to what they are using for Cosmic Rewind.Which coaster? I searched for F.L.Y. and saw a totally different coaster than what GotG will be. But all aside this is Disney
