Don't know about any of you - but to me - those Groot things (chiefly the heads) scream "Limited Edition Popcorn Bucket". Probably with a corresponding 2 hour line.

They’re so new, we don’t even know how to explain them! Behold the creative genius known an Bob ‘N Josh. More creative than the old dead guy.

Reminds me when the term Neighborhoods hit. A cohesive themed area that will feature various attractions around the same inspiration or under one roof in the true spirit of EPCOT

Or as we used to call them. Pavilions.

Festival of The Arts. Appreciate the inspirational future and diverse ways humans express art and experience culture of the World Showcase.
Or as we used to call it.

Daily at EPCOT.

“themed land area” lol wow that language is clunky. Do they know what they are building?

I'll fix this for you for free, Disney because I'm sure this is/will be copied and pasted ad nauseam: "This detailed Star Blaster die-cast vehicle is inspired by The Wonders of Xandar, a new Guardians of the Galaxy-themed Pavilion at EPCOT."

EPCOT Neighborhoods, if that's what you insist on calling them, have Pavilions. They are themed to x. These pavilions should be referred to exclusively as such. tysm.

I don't really agree. Saying "it's a roller coaster in a building" tells us very little about the experience.

More specifically, I think elements like the backwards launch and the directional movement of the vehicles will make this very distinct from the other rides listed. I also expect heavier use of actual "scenes" (via video) in making this truly themed to GOTG, which will make it very different from Space and RNR that are in low light conditions lighter theming. We know there is a planet/moon in the show building that you helix around. I also expect a big pre-show/exposition which will probably extend into the first part of the ride before the launch. I also expect since it is GOTG that there will be a good bit of humor involved, something that was done very well with Mission Breakout.

I also would expect it to be less intense than either Tron or RNR. Probably less fast, no upside down portion, and the sitting positioning won't be as atypical as Tron (or Space for that matter). In terms of intensity, I'm thinking more BTMRR than any of those indoor coasters.

Admittedly, I'm also one of those who finds it mind boggling that people complain about Tron being next to Space as being "too similar" cause they don't seem similar to me at all. I think there is a tendency in these forums to lump coasters all together as being similar experiences which is unfair while given dark rides more leeway in pointing out "unique" parts. My guess is that it is probably because (overall) people here probably prefer dark ride and expositional elements in general more than the physical thrills.

The Dwarfs coaster was also technically unlike any coaster before too.....i imagine this will be far suprior but simply having a new gimmick (the rotating cars) isn't a guarantee of using it well. I imagine they will rotate to see some of the space scenese and a reverse launch. BUT to play devils advocate they could just rotate for preshow/finale scenes. My point is "new cool feature" doesn't equate greatness.

To your tron comments. Im fine with it being there technically BUT i strongly feel MK needs not a ride more until the other three parks gets 2 or 3 each. However the aesthetic will clash. Sure tommorowland has been cleaned up a little but it will still clash unless theres some more planned changes to TL aesthetics.

Tomorrowland is a half finished mess with unused and underutilized attraction and dining space and old attractions that don’t really belong, but hey, we got a purple wall.
