Imagine giving GMR the refurb it needed years ago AND building a new facility for MMRR. Nah, that’s too easy...
The main issue with the TCM spiel was that it was out of place.I just watched that video. The tcm spiel was awful.
Thematics aside (of course), I could see people putting Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro, and maybe Everest above The Great Movie Ride. I wouldn't do that myself, but accounting for different tastes. It's fair to say FOP and the Safari are high-level experiences, and clearly Everest scores high with man, despite its glaring show quality issues.I’d say this is a pretty bad take. I’m not sure how you can count more quality attractions at either DAK or Epcot
Yes. It was jarring. The main issue with the TCM spiel was that it was out of place.
I have no memory of the LwtL with a tour guide, but apparently, the tour guide was replaced with a narration.
When the TCM narration was pumped into the GMR it made no sense because the tour guide remained. The narration was completely redundant because you had a cast member that was more than capable of giving a spiel.

Its gone blue and is opening next year.Is there any news on the topic of this thread, Guardian of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind?
Sacrilege. Or laughable depending on your point of view.putting Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro, and maybe Everest above The Great Movie Ride.

Indeed. It’s incomparable to any other Disney attraction.I don't think there's any problem with someone thinking Kiliminjaro is better than GMR. I think people could conceivably see Kiliminjaro as the best attraction at WDW period (I'm not making that argument).
However, I also don't think it's really comparable to any other attraction at any Disney park worldwide; it's a fundamentally different thing. The closest possible comparison is the old Sea Cabs at the Living Seas, but I'd argue they were still fundamentally different. It's not really fair to either Kiliminjaro itself or to other attractions to compare them.

This thread is arguing about TGMR and The Seas thread is arguing about Figment. Now if you excuse me, I'll be taking my complaints about PotC to the TRON thread.
Oh like I said, *I* wouldn't do it.Sacrilege. Or laughable depending on your point of view.
One out of threeLike Great Movie Ride, unfortunately, by the end, it was a very weak show and that means few guests miss it. I don’t gather there are that many of us left who remember the versions of each ride from 30 years ago. I wish they weren’t so obsessed with new projects replacing old ones rather than being actual additions. That’s the main reason why I’m actually happy they’re opening Ratatouille.
One out of three
GMR, Energy.....and worst of all, Snow White's Scary Adventure.
It’s so rare that someone sticks up for World of Motion. It doesn’t seem nearly as missed as the rest of them.Don't forget replacing Horizons and World of Motion with Mission: Space and Test Track.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought multiple insiders said their is an educational part to this. Also, they most certainly will reference energy since we are going back to the big bang. I am not saying it is going to be as educational as energy but I think their will be elements.
I mean this is probably in the ballparkI'm betting it's going to be something like this.
"Ya'll ready to go back in time to SAVE THE UNIVERSE!.. 3...2....1... BANG!" (Cue launch of coaster and LOUD ROCK MUSIC)
Then at the end of the ride:
"Wow thanks for helping us rockers!, and remember the Universe is full of energy!"
Then you'll see some happy statement about how they have "paid homage" to the original ride by incorporating the 'winky winky' universe of Energy thing.
They'll have to preface any statement with "Stupid Judy!"I'm betting it's going to be something like this.

Agreed, in the last 5 years or so, I was done with GMR and Ellen's Energy Adventure. Both needed updates. We all know that GMR should have been updated w/Mickey and Minnie's built elsewhere.I just watched that video. The tcm spiel was awful.
