All that sounds fine, but the real question I think is what is the actual ride like? We know it is an indoor coaster, but will it have proper show scenes during the ride? Will it come to a stop for scenes or is it constantly moving? I expect it to be projection heavy, but they did a decent job with making Mission: Breakout entertaining and hope this ride follows suit.

The environment surrounding the ride will have a lot more to do with how this ride is received than the specific mechanism of travel.
Once you are in the Gravity Building, you aren’t fully stopping until you are out.

Sadly, it being a coaster, the general public will just love it and think it's the bestest ever.

I'm all for a Guardians presence somewhere (not in Epcot, not just because it's a coaster, I wouldn't think a Guardians dark ride would be right for Epcot) but this just continues to feel wrong. :( And for me it's not about clinging to Energy either.

The pre-show(s) better wow the heck out of me with there being no show scenes on the ride.

If this ride is ANYTHING like Mission: Breakout we are all screwed.
Most people actually agree that the ride itself is pretty good. It's just the awkward placement, hideous exterior, and the fact that it replaced a classic attraction. It seems like the Epcot ride will at least improve in the exterior department. But I mean how could you do worse than this:

Having experienced this attraction, and at least in my opinion, it is far from great, unfortunately. I wanted to be surprised/proven wrong but....

Mission: Breakout is better than Anaheim's version of ToT was.

Someone had to say it.
Mission: Breakout is a fun ride. My beef with it is that it's too frenetic/poorly paced. It's a small complaint but it feels to me like Transformers vs. Spider-Man. Spider-Man is a better paced version of the attraction.

DCA's Tower was far from sacred, but the awkward building looks out of place in a park still called "Disney CALIFORNIA Adventure". I was one of the few people that complained about the sight lines in Cars Land when you could see Tower of Terror, that didn't change with this. It's out of place with a different theme, but it's still out of place.

With all that said, I've been on four different versions of Tower of Terror now and I'd put Mission: Breakout as #3

1. DHS
2. TDS
3. Mission Breakout
4. Original DCA Tower

Universal is catching up to Disney in chunks according to attendance numbers. A roller coaster is needed in Epcot, which is the only Disney park without one. After they open this new attraction, the place will be swamped. It’s a business and a coaster will bring people in and sell more tickets.

What do you class Test Track as??

So this is to be a coaster, not suspended, no inversions, some launch points - is it just me or does this sound oddly similar to Gringotts over at Universal? I have not seen if anyone’s commented about screens during the ride.
