I guess one plus with GotG is the fact the UoE building is standing, just gutted and slightly changed externally. Well, as long as they don't deviate from the concept art.
I am part happy and part annoyed that the Energy building remains standing.

The Energy pavilion, together with the Land and Motion, best presents, even expresses, in physical form the concept presented within. From the solar panel roof to the flaming colour scheme to the reflection of the sun's rays on the mirrors. It is not an accidental structure, but a purposeful one. To that (and before @lazyboy97o comes along arguing in aloof language how all of that is mere cladding, building decor) the architecture also reflected the nature of the ride experience itself: stark, imposing, powerful. A Gesamtkunstwerk!

That it should be reduced to a queue for a superhero ride is a disgrace to everybody involved. Mindless midgets, the lesser by far of the giants whose work they defile.

What? The original Future World pavilions are definitely Story through and through, no cladding or mere decor. They are ducks in the best and proudest sense.

If it happens, what a stupid change...

Hollywood Studios worked just fine since the word "studios" carries the connotation of movies/entertainment. Just because the park isn't as much about the making of movies doesn't mean the name is no longer fitting. Now its being replaced by the generic overused word "adventure" :hungover:

Anyway GotG...

Not that I know of. Which isn't anywhere near everything of course.
Taking this over to the Guardians thread.

Recognizing that you are missing information here. Are you at all familiar with the "Peter Quill visited EPCOT as a kid" component of the attraction? If so, is there any part of that you can extrapolate on?
