I wanted to dude... I had let everything go and was enjoying this thread... As I said I asked Marni some questions earlier and he politely replied then it all got dragged up again and then I got criticised by somebody else for something totally different. This place really bemuses me... Not sure I will stay after today anyway.

I would recommend visiting Disboard which is more positive and less critical.

They've been teasing us with all the live appearances and merchandise for years, and most of the Imagineers seem to agree that getting rid of him was a bad idea.
On a side note, Chuck McCann and Ron Schneider are both still alive, so it probably wouldn't be too hard to have them play Dreamfinder again.

The crowd reaction to Dreamfinder's unexpected appearance in this video says it all about how much we miss him.

I remember watching those videos all the time before I joined this site. Mainly to learn more about WDW and the history of its attractions during my Middle School years.

When I first discovered @marni1971 videos, I spent the whole weekend watching them all.
He is a great historian of Disney and we should all be thankful for the time, effort, and passion that Martin puts into making these incredible videos.

Martin along with Jim Hill are one of the most informative people that I know about Disney and it's parks. And yes I know how most people think about Jim Hill who most of his predictions can mostly never happen (But it can be right every once in a while). He's still one of my favorite Disney historians which explains why I always lesson to his podcast.

If this is the case I will be disappointed because, like many one here, I don't think the theme fits. Now Disney has proven me wrong before so there is potential they can make it work somehow but I feel them GotG could have been better used in HS

A lot of changes. Same footprint - or larger - but very much brought up to date. Don't expect Communicore though. Do expect more M&G, retail and eating space but in a nicer environment. Say goodbye to the awful paint scheme too.

And possibly an attraction or two (including possibly the theatre show I mentioned in this thread originally planned for Energy. Possibly)
