I don't want to be anywhere near the place, and I won't spend a single, solitary dime on WDW. The IP-jamming is ludicrous. I'd rather pay less for an AP to Uni ...
Kiss my grits, Disney. Feel free to cram a Na'vi tree, sideways, but not on my ticket receipt.

Both of Universal's parks are literally nothing but IPs. Both parks. It's laughable that you can lambaste Disney to the extent that you'd never spend a "single, solitary dime" there, yet you'd consider an AP to Universal, where they literally jam IPs into every single attraction in every single land of both its parks.

It's like giving up soda because there's too much sugar, but then eating a bag of candy.

Oh, I agree. Universal was first billed as "Ride the Movies". That was their intention from day one. Marketing was about their ""lands" reflecting the Disneyland park. Epcot was what I said in a previous post. Islands of adventure changed the focus briefly but it became ""Ride the Movies part two.

DHS formerly MGM Studios was Disney's working studio park and AK was supposed to about creatures from yesterday, today and fantasy...aka "the never built "Beastly Kingdom". I I was
There before opening for "dress rehearsals" and CMs gushed about the new land that never happened.

They were genuinely excited that a fantasy component would be added.

So. Now we get Pandora almost 20 years later.

Dude really?... no need for that type of attitude I haven't said a bad thing about you and I am truly sorry for not realising that your 15,000 posts meant you were more entitled to comment on things than I am...

Sorry for having an opinion...

actually i'm looking at your name.. MansionButler84.. guess the 84 means a year which makes you in your 30's... grow up mate... seriously I mean "incessant whine-spree"... what because I voiced an opinion you didn't like?

but any way... tell me please... what did you think of my opinion on GotG at Epcot?

Hi. Welcome. You'd do well to stop acting like a petulant little child.

Learn a thing or two about the members that you're acting so disrespectfully towards.

Hello

I treat people as I get treated... Somebody called somebody rude and I pointed out their post could of been construed as rude as well.

I then got criticised by people so pushed back. Nothing wrong with defending yourself.

I then had some polite discussions including with the person I originally posted at and then went to bed... Woke up to find I had been criticised again so I pushed back again.

Certainly. However, the members that you are acting that way toward are quite seasoned and k ow what they're talking about.

There's no such thing as a right or wrong opinion, but there certainly is such a thing as an informed opinion, and that can certainly make a world of difference.

You're allowed to have an opinion, certainly. Others are also allowed the same benefit. Now, here's where it gets extra magical. Others are allowed to disagree with your opinion, just as you so clearly disagree with theirs.

Ain't life a kick?

People don't disagree with people's opinions it appears as though the belittle people and turn nasty when people disagree with them.

This all started because I pointed a post could be construed as rude.

I am not acting badly towards anybody in particular I am defending myself from comments.... Whether people have an informed opinion or not if they comment badly towards me or comments I have made I will defend myself.

I am sure Marnie who the original comment was made against is capable of defending himself without everybody else getting involved.

Never heard of his videos...
Marni's extensive catalog of Disney videos are amazing and totally the best. He is such a highly talented videographer, artist and so many other things -- he can charge whatever he wants but he does it all for free. Check them out!

To me he's marnie71 from Manchester who likes rugby, hates football, can see old Trafford from work and is quite knowledgable about Disney.
His name is marni1971. And really, marni is one of the kindest and most helpful posters on this forum. Your rudeness toward him is just appalling.

And I'm sure he's a big enough boy that he can fight his own battles.
If you are fortunate enough to even have a real battle with marni -- you will most certainly lose. Plus, you will have to get through me first -- and like, that's not ever going to happen.

But seriously, this forum is not about "battles." It is about Disney and having fun discussing and sharing our opinions.

People don't disagree with people's opinions it appears as though the belittle people and turn nasty when people disagree with them.
Oh, I totally agree! But, marni isn't one of them, he's a really nice guy.

Yeah, that's not likely to happen. That's not how it works. Marni doesn't have to defend himself to you or anyone else, so you're just wasting your time. Again, it's not that serious -- just relax and try to have some fun here.

Anyway, welcome to the forums and let's get back on topic!

Thanks for the welcome.

How have I been rude enough to him? I pointed out I thought his post could be construed as rude. He explained why. I said fair enough and we moved on... cycle through the entire post for all my interactions with him please.

people are blowing this majorly out of proportion.

There's a difference between unsubstantiated rumour (which that was) and this. I don't shout unless there's a reason. It doesn't really
matter if you believe it or not. No skin off my nose.

Well it wasn't unsubstantiated as so many insiders did confirm the ride was in development. Micechat even interviewed a former Disney accountant who got to ride test the prototype. Wether it would have bulldozed the COP was never known but someone (it may have been lee) said they did see different variations of concept art for it with some having the building in tact.

As for guardians in Epcot I'm just highly skeptical. Why would you tear out energy to build a space ride when there's already a space ride 2 buildings down? How do you spin it as connecting to Epcot? I'm sure there is a faction of Disney management who would love to do it I still think it's a bit of a stretch and less plausible than the incredibles ride, Cars Land Orlando, guardians tower of terror, Stark Expo, etc.

Don't shoot the messenger. Im just saying what's happening.

whats the potential of more marvel eventually been added to Epcot.. i am assuming since they are planing to use GotG there has been some discussion with universal?

More Marvel aside from GotG? Doubtful due to the contract. Guardians isn't covered by it.

I believe if they definitely have no potential to use any other Marvel due to the contract (i've read the contract online seems very air tight) then they might as well have guardians at epcot as they have no potential of a Marvel land at DHS in the future... so they can use space there for other IP's such as cars etc.

Weather this side rubbish as well... not good... i need to cut my grass! and saying March not July might be a little kind its freezing here i was thinking January!

Aside from current works I'd be surprised to see more Pixar rides at DHS in the near future. Other IPs are currently being considered.

as long as development continues past TSL and SWL its all good with me.

what chances of additions to the world showcase (not rides but countries)?
