OKay so i'm getting annoyed because everytime i need to contact my travel agent,I can't get through and when I do it's always voicemail.THen it takes forever to hear back if at all.I tried calling Disney myself but they wouldn't help me because they said they can't see my reservation if I booked through an agent.I want to give them my flight info so that i'm not stuck without a ride from DME,If anyone has any idea what I can do please let me know asap Thanks. :)

Well, you can just email it to your agent and of course keep a copy for yourself. In the meabtime, just keep leaving messages and calling to make sure she received it. That sucks that she cant be contacted, she should return your calls as soon as she can.

Sorry to hear that, I know it's too late but I went with KK and they were amazing. I mean I had my agents email, cell phone, and office phone and she was always super quick to get back to me. She even emailed me if she was going away for the weekend and provided me with another agents contact info just in case anything urgent came up.

THat's awesome I've used the same agent along with several members of my family, since my first trip as an adult in 2003 and every year since then ,but I don't think I will again as there have been a few times that I've been given false information aswell.

Precisely why I stopped using a travel agent. With the online access to do everyting yourself really no need for one these days.
I beleive once you receive your vacation package from the agent there is a voucher for DME with the info but then again I have not booked a Disney trip through a travel agent in at least 10 years.

I honestly needed it... I had general discounts up, AAA rates, and an AP discount and KK helped me get the best deal.

I found a "terrific" agent through Small World Vacations. I too was frustrated with other services
and often felt I knew more than the person I was talking to.

Oh wow! I'm sorry your agent is being a ! : ( That is terrible and can definitely make or break a vacation if they don't do their job!

We used one last year and she was AMAZING. She called a couple times before our trip to make sure everything was ready to go, that we had all our paperwork. The night before we left, she called and said she'd found a great place in MK for us to eat at (Liberty Tree Tavern which ended up being our favorite...lol) and had already made reservations for us, but she could cancel if we decided not to.

She send us activity books for the kids on the plane, photo scrapbooks for the boys when we got back. She told us to make sure we got a $25 gift card in our room. We didn't get it and called her to let her know...within about 30 minutes, someone from the resort came to our cabin to hand deliver it to us with complimentary coupon things to the trading post!

Her name was Cathy Johnson if you ever need one again!

I feel your frustration, mamamouse. I would be so mad if that happened to me. I use Kingdom Konsultants and they are fantastic. They look for discounts and let me know which discounts will save me the most money.

I just book straight thru Disney all the time!! I hate travel agents and they know less than Disney cast members anyway plus you still get the deals Disney offers anyway!
