Grounded for a week!

Maybe most of you haven´t noticed, but I haven´t been online my regular long hours.... My laptop was working weird and before the warranty expired this week, I took it to Compaq Care on Tuesday. I was supposed to get it back on wednesday, and nothing, then yesterday, and nothing, then today and NOTHING! They said they will have it for MONDAY! I highly doubt it though because the guy said he just ordered TODAY a new floppy and a new battery, and I don´t think he will get them on a Saturday...

I´m so bummed! Good thing I´ve been busy cleaning and throwing away lots of stuff from my room or I would be going nuts! Of course, the day goes by fast, but at nights I´m going crazy! I have gone to the movies and to a party this week, so that has helped, but I was planning on sitting online tonight as I am not in the mood to go out, and now I won´t be able to! gggrrr! :mad:

I´m on my brother´s pc now, but he uses it to work only and has no messengers in it and I don´t think he will be happy if I dload them, so I feel like grounded... chiiiit....

I guess not having my laptop with the messengers does good on me though... I actually accomplish things! You are all a big distraction, but I still love you! :animwink:

You're pretty lucky Maria, only a week. I had no access to a Computer for about 5 months. My computer screwed up big time. I could access the internet using my Dreamcast but, it wasnt the same, plus I couldnt play online games.

You can always click on the AIM icom on the tool bar and sign in and then just delete it afterwards, or would he get mad? Just an idea, trying to help...:( By the way Maria, I got my ring!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: I will have to post a picture of it so that you can see it. :D I've waited a long time for it. My 10 year anniversary was in 2001.
By the way, my laptop is a VAIO. Are you getting one? If you are, you'll like it. They're really nice. I got mine for Christmas from my hubby.
