Grossest thing you ate at the parks?

@Andrew C and @DisneyFans4Life you'll get 1000 people on this site saying they love Chef Mickey's, and 1000 people saying they hate it. Personally I think it's a must do...just for the experience and atmosphere alone. We have been eating there for the past 15 yrs or so and have always liked it. The past few times we have gone with a range of ages from little kids under 10, to teens and grandparents, and everyone has enjoyed it. Keep in mind it is very hectic but its a good crazy kind of fun! Hope u both like it!
We LOVED it for breakfast. We're really looking forward to it for dinner though. Plus my daughter (who will be just over 2 when we go) will really enjoy seeing the characters!

Awww good!!! Glad to hear it. My daughter(on the right) was right around that age her first time(18 mos old) and she LOVED the characters. This was taken the summer of 2001...she'll be 16 in Feb...that's her in my profile pic on the left;)

Chalk me up for the turkey legs too. Generally speaking I prefer white meat over dark, as does my wife. But with so many raves we decided to share one as a snack back in 2004. So greasy. So salty. We each took a few bites and then tossed the whole thing in the trash. Never had another.

Pizza Planet cheese pizza definitely comes to mind, as does a Mickey shaped, chocolate covered brownie that I got from the Main Street Confectionary. It was so hard my jaw audibly cracked and it tasted way past the point of stale :( Good news is that is all that comes to mind out of my entire life's worth of visits.

Really did not like the macarons at Writers Stop- they were too cloyingly sweet and the texture was not good. Also the cinnamon roll at Gastons when they first came out- it was bready, not warm and melty, and the icing was cold goop. Disgusting.

I had a steak sandwich at BOG the very first time we ate there (it was lunch) and it wasn't good at all...very dry and tough to chew; plus the bread was hard. I gave it another try later on and it was much better. Maybe just had a bad dish?

My DH and I have eaten there twice, and while every time for me was a hit, my husband's last turkey sandwich was the worst ever. It was way too dry and just looked really old. It was so bad that we cancelled our 2nd reservation and opted for the Diamond Horseshoe that opened only for lunch. It was nice watching the chefs carve the turkey in front of us so we knew it was super fresh. We love BOG and are hoping we just happened upon a really bad sandwich.

That's a shame. I had the turkey sandwich and it was quite good. It was no Croque Monsieur, granted, but still quite nice.

The veggies at 'Ohana (and I lurves me some veggies.). This was a cross between Birds Eye frozen stir fry veggies and some sort of Chun King/La Choy sauce. I felt like the Michelin Man for two days after eating.

At WDW.. the grilled chicken sandwich at Pecos Bill Cafe last year. Horrendous.

At DLR.. a chimichanga that was mostly beans. I threw it out after like 3 bites.

Sad part is, both times I was STARVING and probably less critical in that moment than most times. lol

The make your own pasta at POR, horrible flavor and full of oil. La Hacienda in Mexico, everything was so salty it was inedible. I got a refund. And the worst thing ever was a Babycakes "donut" at the 3D dessert party 5 years ago. It is one of maybe 3-4 foods in my life that I spit out. It had this processed chemical taste to it. There is nothing good or natural about gluten free/dairy free baked goods. Makes you wonder what they use to make it. Gross, just gross.

The mushroom cheeseburger at Big River Grille. Probably the worst burger that I ever ate. I just can't understand how such a simple food to make can taste so bad.

Good point. Though, that was the 70s. Post 80s we want hot cheese but that explains why my generation grew up on preservatives lol.

I find this fascinating. The only places you get cheese sauce with your nachos here is in fast food restaurants. Sit down restaurants always serve with shredded cheese and lots of other toppings.
