You scared me for a minute there imagineer boy.
I'd be sad to see him go. Always informed and he always answered all my questions. I'd miss him, and i'm glad to hear he's only on a "vacation." Everyone needs a break once and a while, and that WDI layoff thread was getting really harsh...

I have to agree. If Grizz wants to go into his cave and hibernate for the winter, that's fine. However, I would suggest to him that he grow a thicker hide while he's in there! Grizz's posting style reminds me more of a chicken than a bear. Chicken Little to be exact.wannab@dis said:

Grizz has a very bad habit of posting here and elsewhere with his constant fears that the Disney sky in falling. I get very tired of his constant fear mongering. I'm sure I don't have to remind regular members of all the "call to arms" posts made by Grizz over the years. Most of these reports have been based upon unsubstantiated rumors. Yet, when you take a longer view, most of the fears and panic expressed by Grizz have not been a problem. The Land is more popular than ever, the Dreamfinder can still be found in your dreams and all the planets are spinning in their proper orbits.
I suppose we should make Roy Disney a saint and also cast Eisner into pit with Churnabog and Captain Hook! Oh yeah, I almost forgot that we need to toss Paul Pressler and Cindy Harris in the same pit. Wait a darn minute! That's unfair. Obviously Eisner, Pressler and Harris are the most powerful and evil Disney forces ever to walk the face of the earth! They could easily defeat Churnabog and Hook with time to spare. We need to throw Hades, the Headless Horseman, Cruella Deville and Clayton down in pit just to make things fair. And...so it goes.
Once Grizz wakes up from his nap, I hope he'll be more like his brother bear Baloo;

Although me and Grizz have VERY opposite viewpoints on a LOT of disney related issues, I am sad to see him "Closed for rehab" as it were. I post here a LOT less now a days because of some of the harsh comments made to some of my opinions (or even facts ive posted), I just feel its the boards loss..not mine. Im sure he is taking the same standpoint I am.

I hope grizz comes back, but don't blame him if he doesn't. I've been on the boards for a few years now. I simply don't post much as far as my opinion on a lot of subjects. The "I know more than you" crap that gets thrown back in your face, gets old. Heck, I'm sure this post will cause some negative response of some sort. Thicker skin??? No, just get sick of the same people having their way with people because they can debate subjects down to where you feel like an idiot for responding. I consider this my home board for disney, but lurking and moving on sounds better sometimes.

I have reported people and seen Steve give them a warning. I'm with you on your statement that there are more people that are kind and caring on here than the abusive ego-maniacs, that's what keeps me coming. Anyone I've identified as an abusive idiot I happily ignore =OD

Thank god, that WDI layoffs thread is officially closed. Gosh, it was giving me a head ache.
