What was there before? A less than immersive coffee shop.Ok, but this is a theme park, not Westfield mall. There has to be something more immersive and fantastic than that!

View attachment 234566 Here now. Freaking zoo with the media event going on. Was peaceful for a while though.
Filled with drunks now, right?
True, not a fan of California beer except ballast point. Thanks for the tip though !View attachment 234577
If you stay inside you get glass. However
I’d hardly say there is “good beer” in here.

Muppets Courtyard we hardly knew ye. All of Muppets Courtyard (shops and restaurants) has been reclassified as of today as Grand Avenue.
Grand Park. Established 2017.
Weird detail to include.
I don't. Virtually everywhere else in the park is "kid-friendly" (except maybe HBD Lounge). As an adult with no kids, I LOVE the idea of having a place of respite to escape the insanity for a few minutes. It would be nice if there were a few more food options. To be honest: I think they should add some items for kids, families, and those who don't like beer, alcohol, or crafted foods in this menu in the next few months who agrees with me?

I'm guessing they intentionally avoided the high ABVs to reduce some of the "drunk potential". But I agree with you about selections. Even in FL I can go into any grocery store and buy Sierra Nevada. I'm not very familiar with Lagunitas, but I've been to the Stone Brewery north of San Diego (beautiful facility, cool tour, and great food), but their philosophy of brewing is to over-hop everything they make; IPA is currently in vogue, so let's make everything taste like one...I like the idea of the cheese plate, the $9 pretzel sounds good but it's a $9 pretzel!
Went with a very unimaginative slate of beer offerings, Stone, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada. Those are probably amongst the 3 biggest "craft" breweries in Ca and have some quality offerings. Just heavily loaded with lagers, pale ales and IPAs, and ones with relatively low ABVs.
Sadly, I fear that you hit the nail on the head. Only in WDW can you sit AT a bar and have someone plop their DD8 on the stool next to you...Don’t kid yourself. It’s like any milleniial beer establishment (aka bar) these days. Bring your rug tats and let them go rampant while you get trashed.
Seriously?Plastic Cups....great way to ruin good beer
Am I the only one rather disappointed with the whole Grand Ave. development? It looks like Disney didn't quite know what to do with the space, had some leftover materials from Streets of America, and slapped together a weak semblance of a theme.
