So. Anyone know just how many Club rooms there are across the resorts?
Great question...anyone want to research that?

A quick guestinate is probably 500 ish plus 40-50 ish suites?

Looks like there's 610 CL rooms, and 152 CL Suites.

Coupled with bungalows and cabins looks like about 800 in all for this test.

when the time comes for... ?

well I hope they don't screw DVC members or even AP holders. I expected a tier of some sort... but not a pay extra to play

Let be clear...disney parks have to make up for the lost revenue of espn...this can't be stated more clearly.

So while none of us want it - it was gonna happen.

Anyone miss Eisner yet? Compared to overbaked Bob, he was a champion for the park customer...warts aside...

That’s why I thought it was worth saying.
I am definitely not for extra fast passes getting handed out or even sold but if they make it exclusive to only people that buy in, I can only see it helping. If they just add more onto the already taxed system... Nope

So, let's go for max: 800 eligible rooms. 4 per room. 3,200 people with 3 extra FPs = 9,600 'bought' FPs per day.

Over a 12 hour day, that's 800 extra FPs per hour. If every park has a 'top 3' rides on which people would use these FPs, then, over the 4 parks, that would be an extra 66.6 people at that attractions per hour.

So, at max capacity usage, you would see one extra person per minute enter a top tier ride. At max usage.

"Experience the new MAGICAL!!! Princess Potty Plan!!! Your little princess will feel like a true Disney Princess every time nature calls, pampered during each step of the process! Only $299.99 per day (5-day minimum purchase required, theme park admission not included)"
They'll make certain restrooms, like the Tangled restroom in NFL "premium experience" restrooms. Only $50/day.

Narrow down that number from the maximums...Figure 10% of the people actually purchase this option and use it properly (long wait attractions, use up all 6). so maybe 6 people extra per hour for the tier 1 rides?

Although I am confident this will be the tip of the iceberg.

Well the upside I was looking at is moot....price aside being able to ride my favorite rides more than once with fastpass as in the old paper days....just read you will not be able to use fastpass plus for same attraction in a day.....so in my opinion I don't see as much value as I did initially......:angelic:

Seems to me as a 34 year old - my generation doesn't want to understand supply and demand. WDW doesn't have unlimited capacity, so there has to be a way to constrain demand...What is that constraint? PRICE!

Incorrect

Because you could have simply limited capacity to start with... you know.. trying to deliver a level of SERVICE? Instead of stuffing the box as much as you can without regard for the impact on your product... oh and still keep raising the price.

These fastpasses can be used across parks so it is likely they would not be equally distributed across the top 3 attractions per park but more highly concentrated on the attractions that already have the highest wait times.

While some expert tourers hit more than two parks per day, the vast majority don't. They stay in one park for a day. And since these super FPs can't be used on the same attraction more than once, they'll tend to use them on the top three attractions in one park per day.
