Hoorrahhhh, for the second trip on the trot I have gotten my desired choice after being on the wait list.

Im sure it just coincidence and my moaning on here about the three previous failed attempts are in no way related. :lookaroun

Ooopps that was a minor omission :dazzle:. Treehouse at SSR, despite at the time being told it would be an outside chance. So I can now stay our whole Disney section of the trip in the trees.

Congratulations, that's great news. I remember how badly I wanted to stay in the original Treehouse Villas way back when. When I first started going to WDW as an adult, I couldn't afford 'em, and then of course, they were gone. I've even joked to my wife that even if it's just the two of us and our li'l Slapperina going to WDW on our next trip, I may try to get a Treehouse.

I've gotten my wait listed requests also for my last two trips, I think that the changes in the system allowing you to only have two wait lists is now having an effect. Makes me happy too! Both times I waitlisted and got BWV Boardwalk views

Congrats on getting your choice. It has been hit and miss for us on the wait list with both BCV and BWV, but that has been typically Thanksgiving week and the week following. The 7 month is coming up for our next trip in just over a month so we will see how mid Dec plays out for us.

That's great. We're hoping to get ours too (we were booked at SSR for 9 days, and wanted to get into an AKL studio. We managed to get the first 4 days, but there was nothing available on the 5th day, and then 6 to 9 were free. We took the first 4 days and are on a waiting list for the last 5).

I got waitlisted for one day in January for the big suite at AKL for a 7-day stay. It was a holiday weekend so someone was checking out the day after we checked in. Ended up staying a night at Saratoga Springs then transferring all bags and keycards to AKL the next morning. Process didn't go smoothly, but I blame the computers. Hopefully the new hotel system will make transferring easier.
