Ok, thank god this lame attraction is closing. I would like to hear any cool replacement ideas. All in all the toy story meet and greet is not a bad idea. But I was thinking about this. Wouldnt it be cool if Disney did a murder myster theatre. When someone in the audience is killed and the guests have to figure out who did it??? It could be like a show with dinner and entertainment. They have things like this in Vegas all over the place. Would people come to this, being that most of the folks in Magic Kingdom have small children? This would be more of an adult show, but then again Diamond horseshoe reveu was. What do you think???

Murder Mystery idea is cool but it isn't magical, kids will find it scary, etc. So it probably wouldn't happen. If it did what ties it into Fronterland? Is this a western murder mystery? Your idea needs retooling.

i didnt really enjoy this attraction, either.... we went in it because it was one of the few disney sit down places that have a/c. i am sort of glad thet are doing away with it.

Well the kids liked it, long lines when we were there in June, I honestly have to say, don't get rid of it just to get rid of it. Hopefully, they will have something in line to replace it, not just let it sit empty...nothing worse than something sitting empty, everytime you walk past you think.."oh geeze, when I was a kid I remember when..."

REHIRE THE DIAMOND HORSESHOE CAST!
These people were talented, and they need to come back! Improve the show, change it, but these talented ex-Cast Members who have brought smiles to so many faces better be re-hired.
The failure that was Goofy's Dancing Jamboree is scheduled to close because of cutbacks. Why, then, would Disney want to improve this area when their motive right now is to cut costs??

A logical Western tie-in would be something themed around Home on the Range. Not that I thought it lived up to my expectations for a Disney film, nonetheless, my little one enjoyed it.

Home on the Range looked like a decent movie to me, but I never saw it. I bet you for the next few years the Diamond Horseshoe will be a meet and greet.

Kev, I disagree. I love the Magic Kingdom. But im just sick of people complaining about all the improvements that disney does. Did you like Goofy's Dancing show??? I loved Alien Encounter, but I understand it had to go!

I personally have never been to one, is it scary for small children? It would definetly have a western theme to it.
I think it would be dumb to have a return of the revue, lets get origional, you guys are always mad when disney isnt origional, so im sure you guys would crap all over it when they brought it back.
Maybe a whole new stage show themed to something western?

What they should do is, is a dinner with Cruella DeVille. You have your dinner, while listening to her tell a story, and actors act it out. Murder mysteries are fine and dandy, but its touch for a killer to get away when the entire entrance is blocked with strollers.

They have Murder Mystery Dinners all over in different cities, but it would not do well at Disney (DL or WDW.) If people wanted to solve a mystery they could either watch Scooby Doo or go in their town or city and go to one. I think they just need something else, probably a character meet and greet.

The whole idea of a "murder" mystery just seems a bit harsh to me for MK. I could see it possibly fitting in at one of the other parks, like the Studios, but for MK, it would probably have to be a slightly less grisly transgression, like an art theft or leaving a gum wrapper on the ground.
