Hello my boyfriend, his family and myself will be going to the world on April 18th to the 25th. My boyfriend is 21, i'm 24 and his little brothers are 8 and 12. I'm trying to choose a few restaurants for us to eat at as we are not on the dining plan. If I could get any feedback to which ones are better than others or what ever else you can help me with it would be greatly appreciated.
Where will you be staying? If you're staying in one of the monorail resorts or one of the Epcot resorts, you will have a lot of restaurants that are easily accessible, walking distance or by monorail. Staying at the Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness, you can walk or bus from one to the other, plus there are boats to the Contemporary (or MK) and from there you can monorail to Poly & GF as well. If you're staying in one of the Port Orleans' resorts or Saratoga Springs or Old Key West, there are both boats and buses to Downtown Disney, which is close enough to not make traveling there a pain. But if you're staying in any of the other moderate resorts, or any of the Values, getting to any restaurant beyond the ones in the parks will take more time.
All of this is irrelevant if you have your own car.
Keep this tip in your back pocket, while the Turf Club in Saratoga Springs isn't the most whimsical magical restaurant on property, the food is really good and it is practically never busy. If you find it hard getting reservations because your trip is coming up so soon, give it a shot.
Other restaurants that might be easy to get a reservation this soon, or you can try a walk-in...
