Have fun!!! We went with newbies a couple of years ago and it was one of our best trips!!!! Anyway, right past China in Epcot, there is an african motiff that sells soft serve ice cream. It was the best stop of the day for us and we would recomend it to anybody!

I would say show what you like but also remember to be spontaneous. Always keep things light and esay going. If you want to show something you like and you pass by something that they would like to check out, I would say that if it's not too busy that day take a side trip. And if you don't see everything the world hasn't ended, if WDW does the things to them that it did to you, they'll want to come back.

When we went down this last time we took my 14 year old daughters best friend with us. She had only been to Disney once and it was with a dance team and she said that they didn't do much at all. Sooooooooo, I was bound to show her and my family to the best vacation ever. :D

We had talked all Summer about the things that we wanted to see & do along with what she would like to see & do. We were on the dining plan so we ate at places that we had not been to before. We did things that we would have skipped but it was fun to see them again anyway. I think seeing Disney for the first time through her eyes made it even more fun for me.

I hope that you have a great trip!:)

I agree - by all means point them in the right direction but I would be inclined to let them go where they want to (and do what they want to). Afterall, you've done it 12 times !!!

I always like taking new people to philarmagic, but then again I love tower of terror and rock-n-rollercoaster right of the start then hit expedition everest or soarin first thing in the next morning before the big lines start up. I also think its cool to hit magic kingdom at night during extra magic hours.

Best ice cream? I like the Ghiradelli ice cream shop at the marketplace. The Cable Car sundae is the bomb! As for rides, hit all the E tickets, but one of my fave smaller attractions is the Flights of Wonder bird show at Animal Kingdom. You could also try to get him picked as an extra at the Indiana Jones stunt show. I know its old to most of us, but its new to him.

I'd be sure to hit DTD. People that age usually like the shopping & entertainment. Perhaps catch a live performance at the House of Blues??

Best Ice Cream

We have been to Disney several times.
This year, we are planning to eat at Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort.
We have heard such good reviews about it.
They have a sundae called The Kitchen Sink - it's HUGE!
I have seen photos of it on line.
