You know... We'll be there from the 18th to the 28th... you sure you can't swing those dates a little???? We have no teen angst... just a little toddler crankiness, I promise!

I'm sorry, Bun - I would absolutely love it - but Mike and I were looking at his work schedule in Jan, and he works that Sat. afternoon (the 24th) for a couple of hours. And Fri/Sat works better for my trip than during the week, since Mike wouldn't have to take as much time off work. :shrug: Besides, I'm still deciding whether I want to spend that much moolah, just on myself.
After a night of sleep, I'm looking into other options as well. I'm definitely taking a night away, that's all I know at the moment.

Yes, I know I need a getaway, but that much $$ bothers me. Plus I was looking at MK hours and when my flight would get in and all....MK closes at 8 that evening, and I wouldn't get in until 1....so by the time I get to Pop, I might have 5-6 hours tops at MK. Doesn't seem worth all that expense to me. :shrug:
Darnit for being so practical. :lol: So I was thinking about options closer to home....or cheaper flights. I want to do something different from the usual (meaning a trip to amish country w/ an overnight). Just haven't figured out what.

As I said last night, I do understand that need to get away, but that really is a lot of $$ for one day. Plus, it wouldn't change those things that you need to escape from.
I've often thought about taking the first flight to Orlando in the morning and the last flight home that night, but in my heart, I know we can't afford that. Maybe someday....

My momma and I had a nice day in the City yesterday.
We saw Hairspray again, because it is closing in January.
The understudies for both Amber and Velma were on.
The Amber understudy was good...but the Velma understudy's timing was waaaay off.
Anywho, have a float meeting to go to in a bit.
