So, the kitty didn't go anywhere...

I went outside and meowed and it came right back. It was out there for like 6 hours or so...now I really don't know what to do. Let it back out or take it home again.

Is there a humane society or nice animal shelter that you can take it to?
I'd hate for it to be out there on its own...

I guess that would be the next step. She really seems to be a part outdoor cat...but I figured she'd go home today then...but she didn't go anywhere...she just stayed in the area.

remind me again, why can't you have a part-outdoor cat? Do you live in a bad high-traffic area or something? If you're going to leave her out overnight, maybe put a box outside on its side with a rug or blanket inside so she can cuddle up.

Just saw it! I would take it as a sign that she wants to be with you. Keep her.
(even if she is a...... cat) :lookaroun

Hey, Jo. When is school done for the semester?

I don't know if I should keep her...she brought in fleas...

but I've given her a treatment too...so that should curb them...

Well, I guess I could...but she's not familiar with the area I live...she's familiar with the area I work...and I don't think they want to keep her here.

fleas are pretty easy to deal with actually. My neighbor's cat had them. a few neck treatments and a lot of combing was all it took to get rid of them.

Poor kitty. If she wants to come back in tonight, promise me you'll keep her warm? It's too cold out.
