I'm such a traditional person. :lol:

But it's the easiest way to circumnaviate the stress of the holiday. At least while WHF's grandparents are alive.

Actually we're going to Mohegan Sun tomorrow night to pick up DS and his GF. It was much cheaper for him to take a bus to the casinos than to take the train or bus home, and it's only about a 45 minute drive from here, so it works out well for us. No really hectic driving.

Of course, they'll be on the bus with a bunch of nasty old ladies, but, oh well! :lol:

We solved that by spending the holidays at home and letting anyone who wants to come, come to us. It's usually just us and the kids and we like it that way.
