A shame! Expensive and good ice-creams but...you have to eat in the heat, outside (not even a counter inside) because of the small number of tables available inside.

There are some tables inside, but if they are full and you have to go outside into the heat, at least you have some fine ice cream to help keep you cool. Just eat fast, before it melts!

I always want to stop here, but for some reason whenever I go to DTD it's just not a good time, so for the past 5 years I just walk past it and look longingly.

Then don't buy any ice cream if all the tables are full next time. :shrug: And to be honest, I can't ever recall seeing anyone over the age of maybe 11 struggle to eat an ice cream cone as it melts on a hot day. Not trying to be mean, just my experience. Seems like there are greater crimes than the ice cream parlor not having sufficient seating.

What about the ice cream parlor on Main Street? They have no tables inside.

Same here!! I was depressed when we were there in April and it was closed for renovations...But in 48 more days I can have my hot fudge sunday with Rocky road ice cream.....YUMMOO!!!!!
And I love the fact that depending on where we stay at saratoga I can usually see it from our resort room!!!!

This is my favorite place to get icecream in wdw!! We always go to DTD during the evening hours, so it is so nice for us to get a table outside by the lake and relax. They have the best icecream!!! Havent been there since the renovation though.
