Those look dangerous!!!
I certainly hope so as that's the point;) :angelic: The shape was a challenge project from my former tech and will only be that way for 2 weeks (amount of time a good tech guarantees a nail) to see if I built the structure with enough support. It's a one and done!!!!!!! The flowers were a for me project and the "gel" is super temperature sensitive so I need to learn work with that.

2 down 1 to go.....my husband's boss passed away about a year ago and his widow was just able to let go of some of his shirts. I'm struggling with the last shirt as we were told it was their "date night". I don't want to mess it up. I am definitely NOT the strongest seamstress, and the shirt has 2 large stripes to contend with. My pattern is not conducive to include the stripes.

I DID IT!!! EEEKKKK. I can't believe how well it turned out. Just a smidge off on the stripe but I will take it!

Finished a couple more baby blankets. Time to start donating some to charity as I've more than I'm likely to need as gifts! I've started another one too! I find blankets the easiest to knit...View attachment 756457View attachment 756458
Your knit baby blankets are beautiful! I tried to knit a few times, but the yarn always fell off the needle!!! I finally gave up and went back to my first love, crochet.
I have made 3 crocheted baby blankets and 3 quilts for future grands and great grands. I wanted to do them in case I wasn't able to do this anymore. I have arthritis of the hands, but can still crochet, only slower. It feels great to make these ahead of time, even though styles change over the years. The quilts I made are all neutral colors as that is what the new Mom's seem to want now. Who knows what the trend will be next? I love making these blankets too:)

Thank you! I've never tried crochet, 20240116_200327.jpgit just looks really difficult to me! My daughter recently made her first quilt and having seen her do it I might try it myself one day. I've given some of the baby blankets to family and friends but I seem to knit faster than they have babies😂
Couple more for the charity shops!
