Yeah, it just struck me that not too many people here (Like only 3) know that I'm gay. lol! Soooo, yeah.. hey guys Jake is gay! hehe :)

ok, I'm confused  I thought you had a Huge Crush On Britney Spears... Or am I thinking of a different member here?

Good Luck Chris, I am sure your mother will come around. I love my daughter so much I don't care what she does I would still love her. I might feel hurt or disappointed if she does certain things in her life that I'm not too happy with, but I will never stop loving her. To me, my daughter telling me she is a lesbian would be one of the least worries in my life. I would know she might be in for a harder life than what she normally would have had, but I wouldn't want her to lie to herself and be miserable for the rest of her life. It's good that you are honest with yourself, and I'm sure someday you're mother will be glad you were honest with her too.

You take care,

Oh, and great webpage. I love Les Mis. Is that you in the picture? You're sure a cutie :animwink:

Im thinking that Britney is becoming the Madonna of the new generation? :)

Personally, I don't think she's there yet, but maybe some day she'll join the ranks of Cher, Madonna, Donna Summers, and all the other Divas. :)

I guess I was pretty lucky. I came out durring my Sr. year in high school. My mom was very accepting. She was a little disapointed because she said she would never have grandkids. She later relized that I could adopt, so she has stoped using that. Our relationship actually has become alot stronger because of it and now she thinks it's the greatest thing in the world. My dad is accepting but he doesn't understand everything and we but heads on many things sometimes. I actually really proud of my little bro because his is the classic "Jock" type and he is really really accepting of it. He and my last boyfriend got along great and he loved to hang out w/ us.

I just feel really fortunate that most of they people in my life have been really understanding with it. THANKS everyone

I never realised there were so many gay members here.

What a diverse little family we have here.

Hello all,

I am new to the forums, but I just wanted to say how nice it is to join such a friendly and accepting group of people. It's also nice to see some fellow family members here.

And Travis- I love your Golden Girls quote. That is by far my favorite television show. I could quote lines all day long. ; )

No offense to Jake or anything but there is a kid at school exactly like Jake and there are suspicions that he is gay, so I had a feeling that Jake is gay. But all the other people that said they were gay was a surprise to me.

I didn't think "gay" was supposed to be used as an adjective to describe how someone acts...I thought it was sexual preference...

Lol, Goofette. No, no crush. I couldn't do that, no feelings for girls here, all bois for me. :) So, no crush... just a HUGE fan (Going on 5 years of fandom now, yikes!)

Erika- LMAO! I could still marry her if you really wanted me to. But only for the money. Hehe, and I'd be sure to share it with you.

How exactly do I act that made you suspect that I'm gay? Just curious, I never really came out to Tyler either, he just knew. In his case it's gaydar but for you... i dunno.

Jake, I dont know if it is just one way you acted, but your fanaticism (not meant in a bad way) of Britney Spears and you arguing in such a passionate way reminded me of a kid at school who is like that, and a lot of people think he is gay. So I had a bit of a feeling.

But everyone else, like TravisM, and Fantasia Boi was a surprise.

Dang is my "gaydar" off these days...all those years marching colorguard and I didn't sense this..who knew? :D

As far as Brittney, she's okay (actually that movie she did was pretty cute), but I'm not thinking "Diva"

I could be wrong of course...who can really predict the future anyway?

Jake, it doesn't phase me in the least if you're gay or not.

I'm not a Britney fan in the "music sense" but...I do have one request...(keep changing the avatars...LOL ;) )

There's no such thing as a 'sexual preference'. No one wakes up one day and suddenly decides he or she 'prefers' the same ______. You can't change what or who you're attracted too any more than you can change what food you like to eat or what the color of your skin is.

Or, in a sane world, you could consider it a comment and go on with your life...
