Gastons retiring pork shanks

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Update: yesterday on MDE Gaston's still listed the pork shank on the menu and today I just checked and it is not listed in the menu now. Again this could be seasonal or they are working on changing/improving it. :)

It would be the funniest thing ever if Disney had to withdraw "Gaston's pork sword" from the menu after several years due to full realization of the magnitude of the mistake finally dawning on someone in upper management.
You mean like the "Kings Wienie" they serve at Renaissance Festivals? Big enough to share, I'm told. . . Something about 'wrapping both hands. . .'

Yah I just looked on their menu today and they were gone:(

I guess we shall wait and see what comes of this. To me they would need to bring something back similar or bring it back but improved or something so they have a menu item that goes with the theme of Gaston's.

I would think anything that incorporates beef in the menu would be a good fit. Maybe some kind of tavern style burger that is different than the burgers you can get at Cosmic Ray's or some kind of pork sandwich or ribs?

Maybe yeah those could work. Great ideas! Hope though whatever if anything takes its place will be some type of pork/beef item you can't get elsewhere at MK. :)

It is 100% their answer to butterbeer

Alrighty.
Just don't see it. You wouldn't even know the beverage existed unless you stepped foot in Gaston's. If they were trying to push It, there'd be signs everywhere.

However, when you're headed to The Wizarding World, you expect to get the chance to try a drink that is featured in the books and film.
