Garden Grill restaurant permanently immobile? No.

Weight does have a good bit to do with a gears design. It becomes less of a factor once it is moving, but the gear must be designed to deal with the force of starting and stopping the rotation and the objects mass is an important variable in that equation.

Self-proclaimed rotating restaurant mechanic here. Any amount of force will get any amount of mass moving eventually, if it can at least overcome friction. Friction has to do with weight indirectly, but can be reduced to very little with a good bearing. So even a very low power motor could rotate the restaurant, if you don't start and stop it frequently. If it takes an hour to get up to speed, just start it up an hour before opening.

Correct, if we are just doing it on paper.

By the way is the food prep part of the restaurant inside the middle of the restaurant and turns around like the diners do, or is it outside the turning table area?

Is this TDO's way of saying "Sit on it and rotate, not"

I have some guy friends who I am sure are residents of "Tool City".

I am standing outside of the garden grill at this very moment and it is indeed rotating right now!

Toad is back, restaurant is rotating, Idol is closing... What a time to be alive!

No kidding. If someone tells me the Yeti is alive and the BAH imploded, I just might believe it today. I thought it was Friday the 13th and a full moon, but are you sure it's not April Fools Day?

good to know they're finally fixing the issues on the parks!
hopefully this will mean a change on TDO's beancounter philosophy and will put some effort in the parks again!
