Garden Grill Restaraunt

I've read (I think in the Unofficial Guide, but I'm not sure) that the Garden Grill usually does a complete rotation in the amount of time it takes to eat a meal. When I read that, I was thinking "what total rubbish!". LOL When we ate there in April, our seat was overlooking scenes from "Living with the Land" and when we were done eating, it was just barely past LWTL. This led me to conclude that we either inhale our meals like vacuum cleaners, the person writing that review is an incredibly slow eater, or the restaraunt spins at varying speeds. It was spinning VERY slowly the night we ate there.

So what about everyone here who has eaten there? Did any of you experience it rotating all the way around for your meal? Is it possible that it does indeed spin at different speeds?

I have eaten there, and yes it does rotate veeerry slowly. It had done a full completion before I left though.

I guess that settles it, then: my wife and I just must be very fast eaters...either that or the service was extremely fast that night! :ROFLOL:

We are going to try the Garden Grille for the first time this October! I will make a big mark on the wall/glass and see if we come back to it! No just kidding but I will be looking out for the spin to eat ratio....

If you are fast eaters, or have fast service, it is definitely possible to not experience a complete rotation during your meal. We've done well over 1 complete rotation in the past, but that night the service was unbelieveably slow, which was highlighted by our kids nearly melting down before the end of the meal because we were there SO long.

It rotated once during our meal last year.
