Look on the bright side Martin... when GE opens, they will have effectively added 3 new things for people to line up for in the park. The two rides and the queue to get into the land.
Both coasts are prepared to hit maximum capacity for the land early and often. The real scary thing is both coasts aren't equally prepared for both parks hitting maximum capacity. Those poor unfortunate souls who will be trying to get their Star Wars fix at DHS on capacity when there isn't much else to ease the burden.
Get feeling better. I started to come down with something this week... which is bad timing since we are arriving in Orlando in the morning.

...it's not gonna be good. But since disneyland has a lot of APs...they're likely to just leave when it's unbearable and fight another day.
In Orlando you're stuck...if you're there, you're there.

More importantly, in Anaheim if you paid full peak price admission to Disneyland you have 60ish other rides and attractions to dilute the demand for the two new E-tickets and the land.
In Orlando, no matter how you want to count - you'll end up with less than 20.
No matter how you want to spin it... DHS is going to be a miserable, miserable place with GE opens.

Universal Creative seems to shuffle the deck at least once a week. Last weeks plan is obsolete. Yesterday's plan will hold until about Thursday.

I think you might be in for a rude awakening on that end lol Avatar currently has 4 sequels planned. The 2nd and 3rd are currently filming and due to be released in 2020 and 2021. I wasn't a huge fan of the original movie, but that movie obviously had a huge following and I expect Pandora to only get more popular as the sequels are closer to their release.
And will most likely be applauded (by Disney and the blind pixie dusters) as the most immersive and innovative creation ever.
And before someone comments with a defense, let me clarify what I mean. Individually themed areas without cohesion does not create the same fluidity that Disney Imagineers of the past were able (or allowed) to accomplish. SWL will be a great land, but it will not contribute to the overall "theme"of the park as a whole (IMO). In essence, the park itself will have little theme left aside from whatever name they decide to slap on it. It will be a hodge podge of attractions within individual areas lacking any form of truly united theme. It will no doubt be fun so please do not think I am "bashing Disney". Just the notion that HS as a park will be as "themed" as it once was.

I think the main problem is seeing how the second movie does. Usually that is the "peak" of a series where audience interest is the highest. They really went for it here and made a huge investment without knowing that fact.

Pandora will be the most popular part of AK since it’s new, but I’m not sure people will be rushing to it after Avatar 2... unless the movie’s really good, or they’re from Asia (I have a feeling the sequels will probably make most of their earnings in Asia).

Actually there's usually a drop for sequels. In a trilogy the third usually has a larger audience. With Avatar it will be interesting because it's not a trilogy and there has been a huge gap. Plus, the first movie was pretty mediocre....
