Let's say hello to more CM parking!!!! What a way to replace such prime real estate in the Magic Kingdom...

IGER: Universal is building a new roller coaster and a Harry Potter attraction in Orlando. How are we answering?

IMAGINEER: Well, he have a ton of great rides and attractions that will blow them out of the water, if only we were given the budget to build them.

BEAN COUNTER: Well, in this bad economy, we cannot build so.. Let's add American Idol to DHS..

IGER: Yes, American Idol is an awesome show. Greenlit, next??

IMAGINEER: Well, we can demolish the Galaxy Palace Theater and construct a huge e-ticket in that area...

BEAN COUNTER: Nope, more cost efficient would be to make it a parking lot..

IGER: A PARKING LOT!! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!! THAT WILL SHOW UNIVERSAL WE MEAN BUSINESS!! GREENLIT!!!!

This is in jest of course... A parking lot will show Universal Disney means business!!!!!

Yep, it was certainly quite the production. We all loved it dearly! But other than backstage parking, some of our friends should have a more permanent place to meet us. At least that's what I was told. :shrug:

Iger- BTW do you think we can add a gift shop in that parking lot???:D

Yea. We saw the TTA window coverings for that section. A lot of construction for that part of the park.

Too bad it won't result in anything that enhances the Disney experience for visitors.

But it will. I speculate that it is part of the SM rehab and it will result in an expanded TL in the future.

Nice Portal covers Disney!!!! Real nice. Good job Tomorrowland people!:sohappy:

Thanks for the update and photos. Any ideas where Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas will be performed during MVMCP going forward? I certainly hope the show won't be discontinuted - it is fantastic!

I hope so to. I am going to MVMCP for the first time ever this year and heard so many good things about the show. Is there not another theater in MK that could hold it?

I was thinking the same thing. They probably won't have it anymore since there's no other MK theater that the show could be performed in. But they'll probably charge the same amount for MVMCP.

Twas the Night Before Christmas ran during regular park hours certain days of the week, as well. We caught it on Saturday after Thanksgiving at Noon, and it was one of the highlights of our trip!

They are so cool it gives me hope for the future of Tomorrowland.:animwink: Someone still "gets it" and that is encouraging. My bet is that someone is not to fond of the Laugh Floor being in TL. Just a guess though.

Out of curiosity, what do the portal covers have to do with TLF?
