what is one of your favorite memories from either standing in line, or being on a ride, where one other guest grabbed the attention of the other guests?

One of mine is when it was an e-ride night, and we started off in the haunted mansion. As the lights turn off, with the hanging body, one woman was touched on the shoulder by a cast member. She promptly screamed, "SWEET JEAAAASUS!!!!" We saw her on several more rides that night, and as a joke, she screamed it on every ride. Even on buzz lightyear and the country bear jamboree!!!

got any others!?

One that I have that is about me from the other day that really upset me was while I was working. I was in the stretch room and all of a sudden the lights went out and this man who was infront of me took his hand and put it on my face and was feeling my face. I told the room "Yes sir, my face is real!" I was really upset. We get touched alot at Mansion but the face is one area where I am very protective of! Anyways, my co-buttlers and maids got a good laugh about it after I told them my face was molested.

Well. . .

On Memorial Day Week, we were waiting for Fantasmic! and there was a guy who was quite hilarious. Before the show had started (ya know, while they play Disney songs sung by famous artists) this guy would randomly stand up and dance. I call it dancing but it was really just flailing about. I was pretty sure he was just doing it to get attention. When the song ended he would sit down, and wait a couple before starting up again. Towards the end of the line, about ten minutes before the show started he went crazy again, and actually, some CM's and maybe some security people went down and asked him to come with them or something (I was clear across the theater). He went, but then ran back down and started dancing again. Overall, it was a pretty funny site.

This didn't happen while in line, but while I was eating at Japan in EPCOT. I met up with a CM who works in the HM. She was on a Disney/College program, and we had a long talk about the upcomign rides and hidden mickeys, as well as other things. It was a great experience. Maybe you know her Skipper Timekpr.

Haunted Mansion!

It was in the Haunted Mansion in the rising room. After you see the hanging body, the lights go out, he/she screams and you hear him/her land on the ground. Well, I thought this was pretty cool at the time, so when the body sounded like it hit the floor, I screamed and jumped to the ground. People around me scattered out and screamed because they thought I was the body. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen.  :D

The best thing I heard was in line for California Screamin'. Kid to his dad, "Daddy, what ride is this?" I was like:eek: was this kid doing in line? Anyway, later, I was waiting in line to get on, and the same kid was crying his head off when he got off!

I remember once when I was reeealy young I was wearing a Donald Duck hat, with his eyes and his bill and everything. When I went to meet Minnie, she saw my Donald hat and threw it in the garbage! I got it back, of course, but I'm guessing that the people in the Minnie costumes were told back then that they aren't supposed to like Donald Duck!

One time Minnie refused to sign an autograph book because I wouldn't let her have the front page. We were saving it for Mickey.

Well, I had different episodes involving my Indy hat. One in MGM, I ran into Roger Rabbit, got his autograph and posed to take a picture with him and he took my hat and out in his head, between his ears.
The other was at Universal, there were several characters around, including Harry from Harry and the Hendersons. Well, when we aproached him to take a picture, he grabbed my hat, put it on his head and literally ran down the street! He went REALLY far with it before a CM told him to come back, be nice and return the hat.
Oh, and in that same day, Frankenstein was standing against a wall, just standing there with his arms stretched. Everybody was coming and going, taking pictures with him, figuring it was just a prop. One girl was going to have her picture taken standing between his arms, and all of a sudden he lowered his arms and wrapped them around her, like hugging. I think I never heard someone screaming so loudly in my life...

I thought of another one!

My dad and I were in line for food (couldn't tell you which one...) and we overheard a dad tell his son...

"If you don't start behaving, we are going to find our way to the magic parking lot!"

We cracked up for at least 20 minutes, after that guy walked by us.....:sohappy:

On our first trip to WDW in 1991 (I was 6), we were in MGM pretty early and nobody else was around. Chip and Dale came up to us and took our bags, and then they started taking everything out of the bags. Dad was scared because we had a picnic in there.

They were very mischievous, but it was cool.

This isn't that funny. Well, not compared to that turkey leg post that I'm still laughing about!

My story happened at MGM during the Indy Stunt Spectacular. We were there in 1993 and it was when they were asking for volunteers from the audience to be extras. My sister jumped up and got picked. Then the assistant director person started asking people their names, where they were from and gave them something to do as a sort of audition. My sister was told to stand on one foot with her other leg stretched back and both arms outstretched. I think dancers call this an arabesque (sp?). Anyway, the person doing this is supposed to hold the pose for a long time while the CM keeps talking to the audience. It is assumed that the pose can't be held too long and the person should be losing their balance and the CM then scolds them. Well this did not happen to my sister. She is a dancer and held her ground the full time and ruined the joke for the CM. We thought it funny as did people who recognized us days later in other parks in line. Every year since then we have noticed that they pull a guy in a hawaiian shirt from the audience to do this bit, our guess is that he is a CM plant so that the joke doesn't fall flat like it did with my sister.
