Kids are getting way to bored these days.

I totally agree with this statement. Some kids are bored and need activities to keep them out of trouble. Unfortunately, their parents do not get them involved in something constructive. I can't understand why parents allow their kids to have BB guns in the first place. I won't let my kids play with toy guns.

Sorry about your property damage Erika. Good luck with your move!

Just seen a story on the BBC evening news where a 9:00pm curfew has been imposed in an area of Cumbria on all kids who are under sixteen year-olds. Apparently mindless petty crime and vandalism has significantly dropped and other police forces are considering copying the scheme.

That's very interesting.

A lot of towns around here have curfews for kids under 17, but they vary from town to town. It's usually 10:00 or 10:30 pm. But most people don't abide by it.

I really am better now. I am lucky to HAVE windows and siding, when so many people out there don't even have homes. Maybe I'll put a window cling over that bullet hole  and John can smack some putty on the siding.

Its funny but when I was a kid (pull up a sandbag time) we had youth clubs and activities to go to. Now thanks in part to Thatches fight with teaching unions and the new lawyers Sue Grabbit & Run with their litigation things like that are closed and kids wander aimlessly. There was more room then too if you were playing you wernt ontop of peoples property, in this village they have built a small estate of exec housing next to the village hall and park. Shock horror probe Mr & Mrs Loadsamoney object to functions in village hall and the noise the kids make playing in the park, council now trying to close hall.

I had a window smashed with a catapult and lead ball, caring officer Dibble of the Leicestershire constabulary accused me of doing it myself to get insurance money,

:hammer: bet hes a future detective

Hey, we all know the main objective of the British police is to hit the prosecution quantities set by the Government. The easiest way to do this is take photos of vehicle licence plates rather than tackle malicious crimes. The copper was probably just annoyed that you took him away from posting summons to drivers.
