Can anyone give me the full list of changes that'll be coming to Star Tours at MGM?
I know:
New film
3-D

But what about:
Is the exterior getting upgraded?
Is the queue recieving an upgrade?
Will there still be a pilot on display?

Please help.
Thanks :).

While we're at it, at one point it was rumored the simulators themselves would be getting replaced. Is this still happening?

I don't believe we have that much detail yet. I can definitely imagine a little bit of queue work, but I don't know about a complete overhaul. The exterior, I have no idea. It might be possible that some things will change, as the AT-AT walker didn't appear until episode 5, and Star Tours 2.0 is supposed to take place in the time between the two trilogies, as far as I know. As for new simulators and the pilot, I can't even take a guess.

Disneyland's version is getting some interior queue work (floors are ripped up), and they have a really similar queue once inside, so it's a safe guess that the queue will get some refurbishment.

It would be a grave mistake to eliminate the AT-AT. Very grave indeed. 99% of people won't understand that in SW canon the AT AT did not appear until episode 5 they will just see Disney making a cutback to something cool.

You are incorrect. According to a 'tour' video that was posted, one of the three destinations will still be Endor. The three choices were Tattooine (sp?), Cloud city or Endor.

While AT-AT's were first seen on film in Episode 5 there first deployment was in the battle of Jabilm during the Clone Wars. So technically an AT-AT would be cannon for an Episode 3.5 era attraction.

According to the Imagineer speaking at the closing of the attraction Saturday night Star Tours 2.0 will be a prequel attraction occurring between episodes 3 and 4 hence the new Starspeeder being the 1000 (the current one is the 3000).

I can't refer to it as Episode 5 it is Empire Strikes Back.

That is all...
