Frozen sucks. It's a shallow story with mediocre music, massive indulgent plot conveniences, and poorly developed characters.

Yeah its not like kids don't have to deal with real situations, I hope girl meets world will be a refresher for the channel.

Oh man, I just saw the title intro for that show. It looks just like the current shows on the Disney Channel. I'm still willing to give it a shot, since I'm a huge fan of Boy Meets World.

A lot of critics and people would disagree with your opinion. I don't think it is the best film disney has to offer, and it doesn't have to be, but I do think it's a damn great and fun film.

A great and fun film I'd agree. It is just that.

But, it's not a DEEP film. The story is shallow, and the art follows.

Wreck It Ralph was a better film.

It's funny, we are far more censored and pc for our young ones now more than ever. yet the opposite is true for adult content, they can do and get away with much more now. It's interesting to think about.

Violence-wise, that's true. For sexual content, films have gotten even more prudish.

The art is beautiful in this film that I don't think can be criticized, and when dissecting the nature of Anna and Elsa's relationship I think that's where the deep part of the film seeps in. Especially when looking at Elsa and the nature of her powers.

The ANIMATION of the snow is amazing, but artistically? No, I don't think it's a great film.

Artistically the film is a beauty, for me the film shines for real whenever they are inside Elsa's Ice palace.

Or even Elsa using her powers. Just watching that happen is a visual treat. There are other things you can diss the film on and I would say you could make a point, but the art isn't one of them.

Yes...like a Mike Bay film, when the effects are worth more than the plot...well, it's a fun film to watch, but not an amazing film overall.

I personally thought the writing and design in the film was incredibly intelligent, as on my second watch I found brilliant little things I hadn't noticed the first time around but fit the film perfectly. For instance, in one scene (not gonna say which one for those who still have not seen it), there's a chess board, and it's a perfect metaphor for what's going on with the characters at that point. Even the stinger after the credits has dual meaning.

Lol, you criticized every aspect of the movie, and if anyone defends any one aspect of the movie, you say, "Yeah, they emphasized that at the expense of the other." No, it was all strong. We're just not going to analyze every aspect of the movie in one post.

I've critiqued the movie more than once with specifics about why I think it is overblown.

Is it a fun movie? Sure. Is it the groundbreaking amazing film people seem to be making it out to be? No.

Outside of a few catchy songs, it's rather forgettable.
