Idk...well, at least on my whiteboard at my home that I have just to let my ideas flow I have Tatooine in SWL taking up SoA (The other side would be Endor).

Also, what ideas would you have to make Brave attractions? Sure, the themeing could be awesome but no obvious rides stand out except maybe a dark ride about the movie
Brave could easily be a classic Fantasyland style dark ride. I think Pixar Place should represent all Pixar franchises unless they have a better fit elsewhere. IMO Bug's Life, Finding Nemo and even Good Dinosaur would work well in Animal Kingdom. Depending on how Inside Out is maybe it could be used in Epcot as part of a new WoL pavilion, it does sound very promising so far. In Pixar Place they could make the Monsters Inc. Coaster, a suspended dark ride for Up, an amazing Incredibles E Ticket, Gusteau's restaurant, maybe clone Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and finally Brave. DHS needs more family rides anyway, so this Pixar Place combined with Frozen would address that problem. Then Star Wars Land could be for the older set when it comes to rides.

So to get this back on topic a bit ... it's 100% greenlit, coming this year (well ... STARTING this year), walls going up confirmed, right?

Sounds that way, but not sure they will put walls up right away when it does. I think just the big doors will remain closed with a sign, till it gets more extensive. Watch them replace the doors with electric sliding glass doors like they did at Tutto Italia, looks real nice the convenience store look. :banghead:

I am FOR a Frozen overlay at Maelstrom . Yes, it's a nice ride, but it's not a ride so incredible that it can't use a little pixie dust. Also, it is short and I think not so exciting for children. Disney can charm and educate at the same time by adding the Frozen story.

To me it's going to look extremely out of place having a Frozen ride in a realistic looking Norway pavilion. It really just doesn't belong there but then again I guess I'm not the target demo for this (blind fanboys/girls who would accept any Frozen ride Disney gives us as if it was a gracious gift from god himself).

Yah, I actually didn't think about it like that--you have a good idea! I would like that, and especially if it was kinda themed to the actuall Pixar Studios, like the already PP kinda is, with that brick design thing all around. OOooohhh I like this:D:D:D

Also, I agree that Brave could make an instant classic and one of the best dark rides, just with the storyline it has. My point was that it would be hard to fill in a whole land of Brave content. A d-ticket dark ride/ coaster hybrid similar to 7DMT would of course work for MI, with the door room the finale. Then an Up dark ride and (maybe trackless) dark ride e-ticket for Incredibles like what you said. Could they do anything for Wall-e??

Oh I forgot about Wall-E. For him they could just have him go around the land greeting people and the Incredibles ride would be on a Kuka arm like Harry Potter in IoA as was the original plan for such a ride.

The only problem I have with Brave is that the movie sucked.

I think Pixar/Disney has some great IP's for rides. With incredibles coming out with another movie DHS could have a great ride, wallie would fit in great in Epcot, with an environmental message ride, The Good Dinosaur, (if it comes out) could pp new blood into a much need for change land in DAK, there is so much armchair imagineering that can be done with these characters I wish we could see them develope into a reality

I just watched it yesterday. It was good but there was no closure for what happened to the witch and what purpose Mordue served as being the villian

Agreed. How it won Best Picture over the vastly superior Wreck It, Ralph still boggles my mind.

Worse Pixar movie ever IMHO, yes, worse than Cars 2.

Edit: Frankenweenie was also far superior among the animated film contenders that year.

I thought you said you enjoyed it

Me? You have to be thinking about someone else.

I thought Merida was a not particularly likable character and the movie had little resolution. I mean if the plot of the movie was showing the Merida deserved to make her own decisions, it might have helped to have her do something beyond fix a problem that she herself created by being immature and brash.
