Frozen Ever After opening day

The way I interpret the ride story is that you're traveling from Norway to Elsa's castle. I'm not justifying it's place in Epcot but at least there was an attempt to resolve this conflict. Arandelle may be fictional but this is no more a break from realism than the fictional characters in the meet and greets already around the World Showcase. Nobody is clamoring to meet Isaac Newton in the UK or Nikolaus Otto in Germany.

The exterior of the ride building certainly doesn't make Norway into Arandelle so I'm pretty happy with how this was handled. My largest gripe is that they put incredible AA's on such a low capacity ride!

I think this argument, which routinely get trotted out these days, is a little disingenuous. Sure, the Yeti has not been (and may never be) fixed, but that is not the "norm" for Disney and AA's. It is more the norm that AA's will periodically breakdown and Disney does eventually fix them. Especially if they are main showcase AA's. I don't know what reasons they have for not fixing the Yeti AA, but I do know that you barely see that AA for more than a second and it may not be worth the cost of upkeep on that AA for the amount of time he is seen. It might as well be a static figure because most people wont really even notice it moves.

But the ride's queue is all about the Yeti. And then the only time you actually see him in the ride is in that fake-looking cartoon where he's tearing up the track, and MAYBE later if the strobe light is working. When I went on EE several years ago, I rode it at least 4 times and I didn't see the Yeti AA at all. I was very unimpressed and disgusted. Letting that ride stay broken for so long still makes TDO look very bad. I hope it finally makes a move on fixing it already.

Story doesn't matter, progression and flow does. There is no story in some of the most successful rides there is a flow and progression. There seems to be a pretty good progression and flow of the ride is okay. Tunnel of screens is meh.

Sad, but probably true.
I'm not sure if the original Germany plan would work anymore, but I'd really rather an original attraction there than adding Snow White. I'd love a Grimm Brothers boat ride that focused on non-Disney stories. Japan has had like 3 different ideas, and I think 2 involved Godzilla.
If they continue to add Aladdin to Morocco I will be so unhappy. The characters don't belong there. I know Agrabah is like Arendelle (fake countries), but it always had a Middle Eastern vibe to it... So, not Morocco.
