I think that you are looking at it the wrong way.

We aren't merely having a chat about some bit of news that doesn't really effect us. These parents or their friends may very well be members of this site and actually see your posts.

Water sports go out of the Contemporary marina and use Bay Lake. Won't be totally surprised to see that suspended even though they're mostly in open water.

Sorry but if a gator got him all that will happen is they will go out to hunt the gator, may take a while, kill him and confirm the body was in the gator.

What can she say? It's a horrible tragedy she can do nothing about. Disney will on the hook for a sizable settlement, although no amount of money can replace a child.

I'm not sure how you would prepare for that. She clearly gave a prepared (and likely approved) statement, but having to give that statement without losing it would be tough.
