Okay, lets all cheer up. I hope your husbands surgery goes well, I'll keep him in my prayers. And you. My husband had back surgery twice within 5 weeks back in 2005. Guess what I did 5 days after his second surgery. I left him and went to WDW. We had this big trip planned with one brothers family, another brothers wife, my mom, my daughter, etc.. and 5 weeks after his 1st surgery for a ruptured disk, he fell on Christmas Eve, and ruptured another piece of disk in the same area. This time he wound up in the hospital for 3 days. He insisted I go ahead with my trip, so my older daughter came in everyday and checked on him, and some ladies from church kept him fed, and I went to the MK. Now that was something for me to feel guilty over, but I didn't (well maybe for a few hours).

I hope everyone had a great day..and has an AMAZING week..

I just want you all to know..that I value you all and the friendships we have formed..some over the past year or so ..and some for the past few months..

We all started out with the same thing in common..Disney..but it is so much more then that...

We genuinely love and care for each other and we trust one another...that is something that is hard to find in our "real" lives..and I hope you all know that I value each of you...for being the great wonderful people that you are...who love me and Maggie..who care about what happens in our lives..and who laugh when I laugh..cry when I cry..and cheer when I cheer..

I just want to thank you all for being those true and genuine people in our lives.

Today was a bad day at work. First off, it absolutely POURED tonight. My shoes and socks got soaked, so I took off my socks and put towels in my shoes. Well, that didn't help, as my heels got rubbed raw. I had 4 clogged toilets, and had to shut down an additional 2 more stalls due to leaking from the roof. And last, my schedule for this Friday/Sat was changed. It had been changed to 7:00pm to 1:00 am (which was great, as I had wanted to do SWW on Friday, and have a CM ressie on Sat). Well, tonight it was changed again to 4:30pm to 1:00am, which changes a lot. I don't know what to do about that. If I can't get the times changed for this weekend, Sunday the 24th is my last chance to do SWW.

Just want to check in before I get off..

It ended up being alright, it was just us and 1 other couple. We orded pizza & wings so that was good. :slurp: The show ended a little kooky, we thought our cable went out (which, from the sounds of it we weren't alone). :lol:

It was pretty quiet around here - we were all pretty exhausted from the weekend festivities, so we just took it easy last night, by that I mean I slept like a log!!!!

Today I'm working on cleaning up after everything, but I have to go count money at church first.

That was us too after our guests left. I'd been cleaning all day, and DBF had had a pretty eventful weekend away and we both just crashed. His ankle is REALLY bad. I wish he would go have it looked at but he swears that it's just a sprain...apparantly this has happened before. I told him he looks like a Muppet w/ his "cankle". :lol: Poor thing...

When I sprained my ankle the doctor told me that a sprain is much worse than a break - it takes a lot longer to heal. Does he have it wrapped at least?

No, but he kept ice on it and had it elevated last night. The convenience store by us was closed last night so I'm picking up tape today. I told him to ask around work to see if anyone has any crutches he can borrow. The more he can stay off of it, the better. Yeah, he said when it happened before it took a couple weeks for the swelling to go down completely and 6 weeks or so for it to be completely better. :dazzle:

I think crutches may be more of a hinderance here. W/ the subway and all the people on the streets...
