Frequent Visitors - Do you get "Disneyfied?"

I don't wear Disney clothes when I am at Disney World, which is generally twice yearly. Just not my style.

Ditto that.
Although, Disney is the only place you can see a grown man in Goofy Ears and Crocs and think that looks ok.

When I was a kid growing up in Orlando I had mouse ears but never wore them. We never ever wore anything Disney. That was for tourists. We used to entertain ourselves laughing at the tacky tourists in all their Disney-garb. If someone was particularly standing out in all their Disney glory we labeled them. They all came from Cleveland. I dunno why we picked that city but it's a long-running family joke.

Now before y'all go gettin' your tail-feathers all ruffled, I have to finish.

I moved away from Orlando when I was 16 years old. Now my family vacations at WDW. Most every day we are there we wear our matching Disney shirts (we have numerous sets in long or short sleeves), pin lanyards, hats, visors, hair accessories for me, etc. We deck ourselves out. I have become the tacky tourist from Cleveland and I love it. I've been threatening for a while to make up shirts for us that say "I'm from Cleveland." even tho we aren't. Lol! I love Disney. I have Disney all over my house and our wardrobes. My life is very Disney oriented.

So to answer the question, when I was a local I wouldn't be caught dead in Disney stuff. Now that I'm not I prefer to wear all Disney and "represent". LOL!

I go rarely much to my dismay, except for this year I have found a way to make a second Disney trip in less than 12 months. A record for me, and a first trip to Disneyland in June (or May)

But when I do go I go subtle, and not always Disney shirts. I like to wear a hat or maybe a T shirt and my trademark Kahki shorts.(when I'm in Disney I have a routine, camera in cargo pocket phone in another and wallet in last. I leave the keys at the resort.)

I go very often! (my poor DH....:ROFLOL:...)
I usually wear an EPCOT shirt, my test track shirt from a few years ago, or I go with a Gator shirt. I never wear pins! I had to force myself to wear the Celebration 25 pin!

I also haven't had a pair of mickey ears since 1975. :lookaroun

I just went through and gathered all of our Disney shirts, Giant Mickey Gloves, autographed Mickey baseball cap, Stitch Tobogan, and Minnie Santa Hat together today. I've already started packing for our trip in 10 days.

Ofcourse I am always "Tink-ified" at the parks. This year I even purchased Incredibles masks for us all to wear with our shirts. There will be 9 of us there 11/16-11/24, don't know which day we'll wear the masks, but if your there keep a look out for us.

I have my waist pouch with Mickey on it, and lately I have been wearing my WDWMagic t-shirt or my Epcot 25th Anniversary t-shirt, but that's so people from the forum might recognize me. Normally I would not bother with Disney shirts at Disney, I would wear those somewhere else to show that I love Disney

I have a couple of Epcot polo's (casual attire) and a Mickey Hawaiian shirt... and a WDW baseball hat/cap, that I wear here at home/work and the parks. But no, no, I dont do funny hats... or mouse ears, or pins, or tiaras ... etc. :shrug:

Edit: I do have a few Mickey/WDW Skagen watches... and I wear one everyday. :wave:
