Free Meal Plan in January?

Hey, guys!
I'm going to be at WDW from Dec 28th to Jan 12th. I know there isn't free meal plan for the end of December, but I was wondering: Is there any free meal plan deal for January? If so, could we have it, for the days we'll be there, until the 12th? Does anyone have any info on that?
Thanks a lot!!!!!
98 days and counting!:xmas:

I'm anxiously awaiting a winter sale, too. I'm planning to go down the week we're off in February, and would love to stay at a deluxe, if a good deal comes out.

My fingers are crossed for another 4/3 deal. Last year I had a fabulous week down there with that package, and would love to do it again!

Applying the discounts when they release will be a logistical nightmare for us but I'll do it. I wish I had thought ahead on this one but I didn't. Stupid me. :brick::lol: My in-laws have been sending me $500 payments then having me make their payment for them for months and months. I think they're already paid right at $3K. If I end up having to cancel theirs and rebook to get the discount I'm gonna be up a creek. I think I made their payments with 2 of my bank accounts and maybe once with my Disney Visa. Mine I'm only into like $600 so that won't be such a big deal. Mine will be a room-only no matter what because we are FL Seasonal Passholders. I have my Disney Visa paid back off so if this worst-case comes up I can just use it to pay theirs in full then as the different refunds roll in just turn around & pay the balance back off with any leftover funds being added to their reservation as available funds for room charging when they get there. I guess it'd be one way to rack up more rewards dollars.

Would you prefer the AP discount or the 4/3 deal with the $200 gift card?
I have a question about 4/3 and AP discount....
We are planning a spring trip. If they offer 4/3 we'll go for the whole week, but if not, we'll probably just go for 4 nights and use the AP room only discount.

Can I go ahead and book for 7 nights and then change later if they don't offer 4/3?

Absolutely! Although I might do the opposite, and book for what you'll go on no matter what. Then change if a special comes out. If you book with us, we watch for specials and automatically switch you. In your case we would book what you want, and then if a special comes out, we'll do all the work for you.:animwink:

Speaking of the 4/3 and annual passholder discounts:
How early in January are the discounts usually given? I am thinking of going very early January so do I have a chance?

AP Discounts are great!

Last June, my wife and I went and wound up splitting our 11 night stay at the Pop Century. Technically, we were supposed to be in a Standard room for the first 5 nights and then check out. Then, we were supposed to check back into a Preferred room for the remaining 6 nights.

The way it worked out, they just put us in a Preferred room right from the start when we checked in. We got the first 5 nights at the originally quoted Standard room rate, then got the last nights at the AP discounted Preferred room rate.

We did technically have to go check out and then check in again in the middle of our stay, but we never had to repack or move rooms or anything!

Plus, the discounted Preferred room rates wound up being cheaper than the non-discounted Standard room rates. ...Go figure.!

Can anyone lay out the typical deals offered to AP holders throughout the year (or provide a link)?

I checked the main Disney site but even under the area that lets you preview the present deals all they provide is vague " food and beverage discounts" talk.

Thanks.

Typically you will see anywhere from a 20%-40% room discount.
