Free Meal Plan in January?

Hey, guys!
I'm going to be at WDW from Dec 28th to Jan 12th. I know there isn't free meal plan for the end of December, but I was wondering: Is there any free meal plan deal for January? If so, could we have it, for the days we'll be there, until the 12th? Does anyone have any info on that?

Not usually.

If they do offer it, you'd have to split your reservation between when they offer it and when they don't.

I doubt they will do the free meal plan in January. I expect the 4/3 special again with $200 gift card.

That 4/3 plus $200.00 gift card is a good deal... We did it last Feb/March & it worked out well..We are going again Feb/Mar./2010 & hope they will bring it back......It would make us Very Happy

.......We are going in Oct..but using the AP discount for our rooms..

Hopefully there will be an offer of some kind for January, whether it's buy 4 get 3 or free dining, we'll see. If part of your stay falls in the promotion dates, you can split your reservation like Monty said. That way you can take advantage of the promotion for that part. If you need help booking, just shoot me an email.

Well, I've booked with a travel agency here in Brazil. I'll give them a call and see what they can do. If my reservation is already done, can it be changed to get any deal that might come up?

You should be able to. Definitely watch for a special to come out, and then contact them to help. Good luck!

If they do come out with the 4/3 deal - how does the special work to my current reservation? Do I get to keep my room at POP and they apply the deal or do I have to rebook into a new value hotel and they cancel my old reservation and apply the credit to the 4/3 deal? I know I would have to upgrade to a Package then.

If you are booked for a room only right now, you will have to rebook. They can't transfer deposits for room only to packages, or vice versa. If you were already booked on a package, as long as there is availability for the special at your resort and for your dates, they can convert it.

AP discounts for arrivals in January this year were released 10/29/08. I'm watching like a hawk, too. LOL! I'm gonna really be on my toes starting the middle of next month on. Good luck to you and to me!

Sweetpee's right, last year they came out at the end of October. We will let you know as soon as we see them.

If you'll be there for 7 nights, the 4/3 deal is usually better. Especially if they offer the gift card again.

Yea I will be there for 7 nights. Do you think I should cancel my room only reservation and book a package with the hopes of getting the 4/3 deal?

It won't increase your odds of getting the 4/3 deal if you already have a package booked.

It will save you a little time converting, as opposed to cancelling and rebooking, and your deposit would already be the correct amount.

So that one is definitely up to you! Let me know if you need any help!

4/3 w/gift card. Free dining saves us more than the 4/3 w/the gift card added but it wouldn't be near the value for my in-laws who are also going. For that reason I'm hoping for the 4/3 or a deep percentage off. That way they get a fantastic deal, too. I'm not getting my hopes up that the discounts will be that great. I'm crossing my fingers for 30% off the room. Anything more will be lagniappe.
