I know its a done deal viz a viz Starbucks. I think licensed vendors (to be differentiated from ride/attraction sponsors) in the parks is a bad idea. I like Disney theming vs. outside vendors we can see anywhere. If you like it fine. I also do not like Starbucks politics for whatever that is worth.

Anybody have the canned response to this? 'cause I don't have the energy to type one ...

I also didn't know Starbucks had a political party, but if they do sign me up because a I can't stand the two that we have!

We've had third-party vendors and corporate partners in the parks since 1955. Pepsi sponsored iasw at the 64 worlds fair as well as GE sponsoring CoP there as well.

I'm pretty sure my loyalty to Starbucks outweighs any political party loyalty. I'm just glad the FEC doesn't post my Starbucks spending.

Since it was brought up on the here, the Main Street Bakery (as of right now) will serve both SB and Bakery pastry's and stuff. I'm currently part of the training team. Nothing is set in stone yet, nor is the Bakery even finished. So even while we are training, some things are up in the air... But from I can tell, you shouldn't be disappointed when we open our doors two months from this past Thursday ;)

They do not know much about the Epcot location yet. But those cast members start their training in mid-June.

I was asked to ask this question; My older sister and I both love the ice cream sold here, will that still be sold here or will it just be a plain old Starbucks ? I ask because on every trip we take to Epcot we make a point to get ice cream from Fountain View Ice Cream on our last night in Epcot before going home the next morning.

It will not still have ice cream, but it's just Edy's ice cream. You can get that at your grocery store for much cheaper. I'm more interested in the ice cream coming to France in June that will actually be made on site.

So it will merely be a plain and simple bland old Starbucks ? Darn, my family made it a point to get ice cream there and watch Illuminations that same evening. At least they're not doing anything {yet} to Club Cool by CocaCola! {I went in there, had some Chinese Coke! Was awesome!!}

With the whole lower section of Innoventions West (With the Exception of Club Cool) being down for refurbishment. Have they decided to also move the opening for the Character Spot along the same opening of FountainView? It's like they have been Veeeerry quiet about the M&G area ever since it closed down at the end of last year...What is taking them so long to do something like this?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Is there any chance they will remove those triangular shades and tubular supports?
Then they could install natural shading - you know ... trees.

Like at DAK where it's perpetually 173 degrees outside?

Edit... I kid. I think people think technology when they think future, and people tend not to link technology with nature.
