So folks were wondering how the wage increases were going to be paid for? Wonder no longer, this is the first.
Alligators. Fish.
It allows us to justify getting a rental car for the week. We stop at Target, get three cases of water for $15 and that equates to $252 in the World. That more than pays for the car for the week. Although the new resort parking fee is a new wrinkle... gosh darn it, they implemented that just to get me$3.50 for a bottled water is disgusting. Shame on them.
I mean with that logic, you could say you shouldn't be spending $300 a night for a Holiday Inn level room? I hear what you're saying, but they get you either way with that discount. This makes me really glad we got the free dining discount on our next trip. I know some people math it out so the room discount is a better deal for them but it would never make sense for us.
We love Disney snacks, food, drinks etc. But without the free dining we just end up leaving the parks for food. Because it doesn't make since to spend $50 at a quick service restaurant in animal kingdom when a 15 minute drive will take us to Outback for the same price.
I get your point...but good god, who can drink that sulfur water
Mmmm. Love the taste of false equivalencies. Delicious. So folks were wondering how the wage increases were going to be paid for? Wonder no longer, this is the first.

Ha. Ha. Assuming you're referring to Zephyrhills and not tap. Good stuff.
There has never been a $5 snack cap, what on earth are you talking about? From a DP Snack view, it just moved Smart Water out of the $5 snack cap.
This is how it has worked since the bronze age.
The pattern of this reaction continues. It’s getting to the point where even I am starting to be turned slightly sour
Eh, I blame the DDP more than I do wage increases. Restaurant prices are through the roof and have steadily increased to appear that the DDP has actual value or is a "Good deal."So folks were wondering how the wage increases were going to be paid for? Wonder no longer, this is the first.
...exactly...lying was invented long ago
Sadly...you’re correct in that’s what they will blame for the multiple increases each year...
“Longterm obligations”...to get all the fools riled up that it’s not Wall Street screwing them...it’s the guy driving the bush on the way to the not so scary...
It’s a lie though
The vast majority of guests are not on the DDP. Its impact is almost always overstated when it comes up in these conversations. What you're describing only works so long as cash guests are willing to pay the menu price of these items.Eh, I blame the DDP more than I do wage increases. Hulu and Disney Plus.Might not be. Do you know which revenue sources they were counting on to provide the funds to service the Fox deal? It's not Shanghai...
