Talk of this attraction has been around for a very long time. Have a look at http://www.wdwmagic.com/beastly.htm to see how the details have appeared over the years. Recently I had very firm eveidence this was going to be reality, and yesterday confirmed that. With an opening of late 2005, they have to start construction soon, so it would make a lot of sense for Eisner to mention this at the meeting, prior to the full blown press announcement.

I realize that the talk has been around forever. Along with everyone else on these forums, I welcome the addition of FM to AK. I don't think it was unheard of for Eisner to mention it, I just think it was a weird coincidence in terms of timing. Honestly, it would be pretty bad if he felt he had to "leak" info to help interest in the parks. But then again, he might feel that he's got to do what he's got to do.
