I wear contacts now, but for when I didn't:
Not for everyday use, mind you. Just when there are roller-coasters around.
I just don't think there's any real risk on a WDW ride. The motions are so mild compared to coasters at Six Flags or Universal. If your real glasses (not sunglasses) fly off on Splash Mountain's drop or a BTMRR turn, then they're probably not properly sized to your head.I'm shocked so many people leave on their glasses! I'm blind without mine and it would wreck the whole vacation if they fell off, so I don't risk it.

The only WDW ride I can think of that makes me worry a bit is RnRC, and only at the loop. I generally reach up and grab one of the stems there, but I don't think it's really necessary. The physics that keep me pinned back in my seat seem to keep my glasses firmly in place too.
If I lose them one day, I'll grope my way onto this thread and admit I was wrong.
^^^If I took mine off it would take all the fun out of seeing all the elements of the ride because it would just look like various colored blobs, soooo...the glasses stay on!
I *have* lost a pair of sunglasses at WDW, though...but it was because I left them on the train coming back from Conservation Station at AK... :lookaroun
