This doesn't exactly pretain to your question, but I notice you're from Long Island! Where on the Island are you from?
10 weeks-it was an absolute dream. He slept both ways-the whole time. This year, he will be 10 1/2 months and I am considering baby Benadryl. He is very active and will want to stand and dance the whole time. Thank goodness we are taking a 7 am flight from Detroit and he will hopefully be lulled to sleep.
I wish you the best of luck!:lol:10 weeks-it was an absolute dream. He slept both ways-the whole time. I've never flown with a baby, but I've been a passenger on a plane with people who have babies.
As a fellow passenger, I implore any one with a baby, please bring something for the baby to chew/gum/mouth during take-off and landing. The poor little one's ears will pop, which hurts, which resulting in screaming... Every plane I have been on (more than 26 times), there has been some one with a brand new screeching child. (I have no children, so I'm just going from observation of the ones I've seen on planes.)
I have taken two babies on the plane, and they were better then the older kids. If they cry and scream dont worry about it. Dont worry about what other people are thinking. If your in a resturant you can always get up and go outside, not much you can do on a plane. I always bring somthing for them to play with. Have fun, and dont worry!!
Thanks Waltzing Matilda and Brer Dad for your positive comments... I am taking my 10mth old to WDW in June and as we live in the UK I am not looking forward to the 14hour journey (layover in Philly) - I am paranoid about upsetting the other passengers but like you said, babies are people too and from reading some negative messages about taking babies on planes (i am presuming from people who don't have children?) they do notice a crying baby.
Most babies can't chew gum.
