Interesting on the queue and it now having FP. Are they expecting it to suddenly surge because of Russell and Dug?

The exterior looks fantastic though. And I do like the signage.

There's no goosebump moment for me and Fantasmic, Illuminations, Galactic Spectacular and Happily Ever After all have those moments in spades, even after multiple viewings.

I'm not in favor of turning RoL into an all-out IP fest, but I feel like some instrumentals of songs from the Lion King, Jungle Book, and Pocahontas would have gone a long way to give people a goosebumps moment.

Quite a few carts throughout the park actually. Wilderness Explorers and in turn Up has become the De Facto IP of AK.

Not sure what all the hate is for, I saw it yesterday at the 3:30pm show. It's pretty similar as far as the birds go. Instead of the "tourist guide afraid of birds" Guano Joe we get Dug and Russell. Seems like a fine trade off to me.

I think Dugg is probably too much for the show. He's a comedic foil and an excellent character, but not for this show. Russell can be a comedic foil while also being educational.

Guano Joe was also a pretty silly comedic foil that really added nothing to the educational aspect, imo.

Nothing especially. It adds a couple Disney characters which might appeal towards kids and get them to sit through the whole thing without thinking it's "boring".

I don't begrudge their addition. I just wish it were more than just adding them in so kids won't be bored.

I really enjoyed the show to begin with, and honestly find the Dug and Russell addition less tacky and cheesy than Joe, just more "Disney", so I don't have a problem with it. I show up for the birds, not the hosts of the show.
