Flash watchers redeployed?

Half the people on Earth have and the other half can't wait to see them, so where's the problem?

And what would you rather catch a glimpse of: a nice set being flashed on camera or some oblivious hag breast feeding her kid out in public for all to see? I've seen more uncovered an just whipped out in plain sight breast from moms at a rate of about 100 to 1. Breast feeding is a natural thing but PLEASE don't just flop them out on the table at Cosmic Rays to feed your infant! Disney should patrol that! A flash at Splash Mountain is over in1 second but I have to have this had facing me at lunch for 20 minutes!

Half the people on Earth ARE and the other half want to take advantage of them. :lookaroun:lol:

Free the boobies! :lookaroun

Seriously, I think its silly and uncouth, but I have more pressing issues to worry about vis-a-vis my kids' development than if they saw a .

Can you imagine explaining how you spent your summer internship to future employers in a job interview? "Well uhm yeah, I stood in this booth all summer and looked for pictures of women . . . "

In resume speak you would be an "inspector" of sorts.

I am surprised at how strict America is with clothing policies. I can understand decency on regular occasions but people act as if (or lack thereof) is the end of all modern civilization. In Europe kids aren't half as curious than here because you can find mags with naked pictures on the cover at a local supermarket.

FYI, WDW removed this position at all of its photo attractions months before Disneyland.

Funny that they redid the statue in SSE with the bare breast exposed, yet they don't mind guests seeing them when they get off Splash Mountain. Ha ha.

(Waits for thread to cross the line.)

I have a feeling that TMZ just heard of this. It's probably still OLD news.

That's only at Disneyland.

Actually, the screener positions were already removed from WDW back in 2008. They just removed the position at Disneyland on Sunday, May 3rd.

Al Lutz made mention of this in his last update, and then the local newspapers here in SoCal (both the OC Register and LA Times) picked up on it after it was mentioned by Lutz on his Miceage site. Now sites like TMZ are talking about it, but linking to the newspaper mentions of the story because it looks better for them than to link to another website where it actually broke.

If WDW had an Al Lutz type persona to report on gossip out there, this would have broken back in 2008 when WDW dropped the screener positions. But it had to wait until 2009 when the screener positions were dropped at Disneyland, and then Al Lutz jumped on it, and the rest is history.

You may now attempt your own Flash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom, if you would like.

Not to mention on TV. While I was in the Navy, we were in Italy and I went to a cafe to enjoy some time off the ship. While sipping my expresso and watching Dr. No in Italian, a comercial comes on advertising laundry detergent or something and the topless woman is walking across the TV screen. :slurp: Never see anything like that in the states. Not to mention all the topless women you see on the beaches in Europe, (though most times they are the ones you wish had tops on).

This thread certainly has given me a good chuckle this morning.:ROFLOL:

I think it is a little more difficult on our side by side seating to do this. All of the pictures I've see of 'Flash Mountain' have been from DL with the single row seating.

Local DJs were talking about this issue this morning. They asked for listeners to call in with their stories of having flashed for the camera. Instead of flashers calling in, they got one guy who had done his CP in 2004. His entire job was to check ride photos at RnRC and ToT. According to the guy, there was an average of 1 flash/day with up to 8 flashes on a really good day.

One last tidbit he threw in: while the photos were not displayed for guests to purchase, fellow CMs printed off the best ones for their personal collections.

How so? The logs at WDW are wider and larger overall. There's much more room to get "in position", if you will.

All talk of prudishness aside, I wonder if there is a legal aspect as well. The parks have a 'shoes-on shirt-on' policy (with exception for children playing in designated fountain areas like Ariel's Grotto) and I know the PhotoPass photographers will not take a picture of a guest without a shirt and/or shoes. If a photograph of a guest in a state of undress (shirt off/up) is sold to a guest, would that be considered a tacit approval and make the policy meaningless? Just askin'.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
Why not just replace the reviewers with that great technology used on SSE? If they can make it recognize faces, I'm sure it could recognize a ! :ROFLOL:
